YO, I caved and decided to make a new post category: Outfit Redraws! Basically, these posts are for when you draw clothes or outfits you like on your own characters/other characters/etc. I figure drawing existing clothes and outfits is actually good practice, so idk why not include it here. :^) (I just wanna have more stuff to post to this world tbh;;)
Here's the general guidelines for these posts:
Outfit Redraw Posts
*Tag these posts with the tag "redraw"
*In these posts, you draw and post characters in outfits and clothes you've seen in photos or online clothing stores
*You can also use any outfit in this world tagged as "free"
*These posts are meant to help people practice drawing different types of clothes
*Always link back to the original photo/website where you found the outfit (including for redraws of free outfits in this world)
*I would prefer if you do not redraw outfits from artwork (on dA, tumblr, etc) unless you have permission from the original artist to do so

I've been wanting to draw my OCs in clothes/etc I've seen online, so I guess I'll be posting those here when I do so. I intend to work off of outfits from clothing stores and magazines since those are basically free to the public, to my understanding. :^0
As I've always been, I'm kind of wary about posting/drawing outfits from other artists (especially non-theOtaku artists), so make sure you get permission if you want to draw an outfit you've seen made by a different artist.
Even though outfit redraws are good practice, the main purpose of this world is still to post original designs! *-*/ I know I'm still like the only one who posts here, but.... yeah;;;;; OUTFITS.

Hey guys, I added another post category to this world called "fashion commentary." With these kinds of posts, you can post pictures of outfits and talk about fashion or a fashion subgroup or anything you like.
I've been wanting to make a post category like this for a while now because I wanna post about fashion subgroups like Decora and Shironuri, but I've been shying away from it because I'm wary about people posting photos/artwork that don't belong to them in this blog. BUT! I've decided it's okay as long as you get permission. here's the guidelines I've added to the rules/etc for these posts:
Fashion Commentary Posts
*Tag these posts with the tag "commentary"
*In these posts, you can post pictures of fashion that you like/dislike/etc
*These posts are intended to be used as inspiration or to otherwise give others a better understanding on aspects of fashion
*IF YOU POST ARTWORK THAT IS NOT YOURS, YOU MUST GET PERMISSION FROM THE ORIGINAL ARTIST TO POST IT HERE
*IF YOU POST PHOTOS THAT ARE NOT YOURS, YOU MUST LINK BACK TO WHERE YOU ORIGINALLY FOUND THE PHOTOS
*Include at least two sentences about the pictures you are posting. Do not just post pictures.
The last couple bullet points are the really important ones. Please get permission from the original artist if you want to post artwork that isn't yours. If you can't get permission from the artist, then don't post that artwork. Photographs are a little bit more difficult to get permission for, so at the very least you have to link back to where you found the photo if you're going to post photos here. And always link back to the original source even if you get permission from the artist/photographer.
Also, please don't post pictures without any commentary. It's nice to look at pictures, but I feel like we can all learn a little more if some interesting commentary is given on those pictures.

HEY, so, idk how relevant it is to you, but I just changed the name of this world to Fashion Your Life.
STILL A LAME TITLE, but I figured it would be less confusing. I feel like it sounded like more of a "theOtaku world/blog design" group rather than a fashion group. Changing the name broke a ton of links, though... I THINK I GOT MOST OF THEM, but if you come across a link to somewhere this world that doesn't work, just let me know.
ALSO, does anyone have any ideas for the next fashion challenge? :^D The last one ended with a pretty good turnout, so I thought it might be a good time to host another challenge.
(Though admittedly, I haven't finished Cottonees's prize yet... I PROMISE I'LL FINISH THAT BEFORE I START THE NEXT CHALLENGE...!!!!)
But yeah, just let me know if you have challenge ideas. Otherwise, I'll just try to come up with something again. :U

Yeah. I just need some feedback on how this world reads/looks/whatever before I make it official. I'll change stuff up based on the questions and feedback I receive, and try to make this group as good as I can make it. ;0; And then, I'll make it official and stuff and people can join! Yeah!
