::{Curious Regret}:: - A Story About Ami and Keiji

Monster!

When Keiji stepped back inside, everyone let out the breaths they had been holding. “What happened?” Ami asked politely. He smirked cruelly, and told us. When he got to the punishment of Kohaku, Ami jumped up, “You just left Kohaku out there!?” she cried. I couldn’t believe it either. Keiji glared at her, “You dare to question my tactics? What I do to my Zodiac is none of your concern!” Keiji snapped, his eyes glinted with anger. Ami bowed her head, “I am sorry, Keiji-sama. I will not question you again.” “I will hold you to your word, Ami.” He said, in a soft voice.

He turned to Mai and Kameko, “Go find Kohaku. Bring him back.” He ordered. They left obediently. “Keiji,” I heard Ami say softly, “Where is Natsumi?” I listened intently. He smiled once more, and told her. She fell silent, and I felt shocked. Ami stood up, “Where are you going?!” Keiji demanded. “Nature calls.” she shrugged.

“How could you?” I hissed at Keiji after Ami left the room. He smirked, and I felt something in me snap. “Monster!” I practically screamed, and slapped him. He grabbed my arm, and threw me across the room. “How dare you?!” he asked furiously, his face red with rage. “You deserved it!” I spat at him. He made his way over to me, and bent down so that he could look me in the eye. “Don’t ever touch me again,” he whispered menacingly, and slapped me, hard. I could feel the tears starting to form in my eyes, but I blinked them back. I wouldn’t cry in front of him.

~Keiko

Keiko-chan the Tiger

Name: Keiko Sohma
Age: 14
Personality: She’s kind hearted, and the kind of girl you’d think couldn’t hurt a fly. But don’t let that fool you, get her mad, and she can be evil.
Background: Lives with her mother. Her father died while her mother was pregnant.
Looks: Short brown hair (not her natural colour), with blue eyes. People think she looks fragile, boy are they wrong

A furthering of the plot...Sorta...

We waited with baited breath. Moments earlier Keiji had followed Kohaku out. To see if he was being truthful. A few minutes, and a scream later we knew. Natsumi and Kohaku were out there together. And Keiji had caught them doing something.

Minutes later still, the door slide open. Keiji stepped in side. “What happened?” I ask, trying to be as polite as I can. He smirked cruelly. When he got to the punishment of Kohaku, I jumped up, “You just left Kohaku out there!?” I cried, he glared at me, “You dare to question my tactics? What I do to my Zodiac is none of your concern!” Keiji snapped, his eyes glinted with anger. I bowed my head, “I am sorry, Keijisama. I will not question you again.”
“I will hold you to your word, Ami.” He said, in a soft voice.

He turned to Mai and Kameko, “Go find Kohaku. Bring him back.” He ordered. They left obediently. “Keiji,” I said softly, “Where is Natsumi?” He smiled once more, and told me. I fell silent, remembering the times I had been locked in there. Natsumi hates that room. I couldn't abandon her! I stood, “Where are you going?!” Keiji demanded. I made up a lie, fast, “Nature calls.” I shrugged. I walked to the restroom and pulled out my cellphone. I dialed Natsumi, to tell her that tonight I would help her get out if she could just wait for a little while longer.

Ami

"What does that mean?"

Everyone stared at the door. We were unable to believe what had just happened. Natsuchan was Keijisama's niece? Natsuchan was Keijisama's niece?
That meant her mom and Keijisama were siblings?

I turned to Kamechan and tugged her sleeve, whispering “What's going to happen now?”
Kamechan frowned, thinking, “I don't know.” she finally answered. I thought for moment. “Do you think Natsuchan will be okay?”
“I'm sure she will be.” Kamechan answered with a calming smile. Amichan didn't look so sure.
“I dunno...” She said, “Her mom isn't expecting her back for a while...”
Kohakun nodded his agreement.

Keijisama looked at us, a cold smile forced on his face. “We will not think of her for the rest of the feast. Whatever trouble she gets into is her fault.”
Ami jumped up, outraged, “WHAT! How can you say that? You help cause this to y'know!”
she yelled. Keiji watched her with an entertained look.

Ami glares at him and announces that he's a f---ing b*****d. I don't know what that means, but Keijisama doesn't get mad, so it can't be bad. He just sighed and sat back down shaking his head slowly. I put down Patchikun and raised my hand like I'm in school. Keiji sighed, “Yes Mai?”
“...What does f---ing b*****d mean?”

…......
Yes, I know, lame... is 1am here and I'm tired. Besides I don't really know haw a 9 year old can help with the plot. I decided she had a stuffed squirrel name Patchi (patch). He's a light brown clothe, and covered in patches (thus his name).

I only just realised Ami and Mai have the same letters in their name... I also just realized I've been spelling Ami's name weird. The Japanese version is spelled Aimi, meaning beauty

Kameko :)

I walked slowly through the halls, running mt hands along the wallpaper, which eventually turned to old wood panneling. I knew I was close to the banquet hall wherethe New Years dinner was being held.
I insisted on going my self. Mother insisted I not. I won, of course. Hehe, she needs to learn that her little girl can survive in the world on her own.
As I neared the banquet hall, I could hear hushed and awkward conversation. I found the door after a moment and entered.
I stood for a moment, listening to find where I had to go. I felt a small hand pull at my own. Mai gently led me to my place at the table and we sat down. I listened to the hum of conversation, zoning in and out.
