You and he will be alright :) Even though you're going to college you can keep in contact with your brother as much as possible and give him all the support he needs and also so that hes not afraid to tell you everything. Mostly kids his age become rebellious and try to solve their problems on their own which may prove very difficult for them, so you should watch out for him so that hes able to all you all his going ons at home with your parents and stuff...
Thanks. I'm okay now, but I hope to be out of here and getting myself together soon. What really gets to me is that I won't be able to protect my brother from the rapidly increasing tension. I've always protected him, but now I'm leaving. Anyway, he's fourteen now. I mean, you eventually get to the age where you have to sink or swim on your own. Still, I worry.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
Thats really bad!! I always try to avoid these kinds of conflicts by just putting on my headphones and turn the voice high!! That really works for me until it all cools..Or if the conflicts are longer, I just generally avoid being with my family. Stay in my room all the time, take long baths and stuff...Anything to stay out of the way, even if it concerns me!
I hope evreything works out, your mom cools down so that you guys can enjoy the trip without these kinds of things preoccupying your mind :)
