Thanks. I did look at the page, but he's careful not to sound outright threatening or give me anything that I could use legally. However, I have been saving these messages. And although the individual texts don't look threatening, if someone were to read through the list it would be apparent how creepy and manipulative he has acted. Maybe I could do something with that.

I don't think I can report him just for texting. He's very careful not to send anything that comes across as an outright threat, although if I scroll through my text history I can see the hints of manipulation and threats there. He's not an idiot. He doesn't want to confront me on the campus, which is a large, public, well-populated area inhabited by lots of campus police officers. He wants to manipulate me into coming to his dorm so he can harass me in private and then I'll have technically gone over there of my own free will. It's not happening, though. There is no way I'm going over there. Back when I thought we could be friends I went over there to tell him that we couldn't be more than that and the whole time I was talking he was trying to grope me and manipulate me, and he didn't want to let me leave. But if I'm not there I should be okay. The police can't really stop him from texting.

You can report him to some sort of campus security, get a restraining order, or even report him to the police. Please, don't do absolutely nothing about this, tell someone, it's just not right.
He hasn't approached me because my campus is a very crowded, public place. He knows that what he's doing is wrong so he's not going to approach me in a public place where I or someone else could call attention to it. That's why he's sending these texts, and it bugs me to leave them unanswered, but I have to keep telling myself that I couldn't say anything to him that he hasn't already ignored. If he did start harassing me in person I wouldn't hesitate to take this matter to the police. There's not much they can do if he's just texting.

If it keeps up I will. It's been a couple days since he's texted me. Hoping he'll leave it alone.

@Sarasface:
At very least you can report him for sexual harassment because it's pretty clear that's going on. Definitely do not give in to this creeper.
