CHINESE were the original, according to a myth or legend of some sort. There was this emperor who wanted to live eternally, so sent out chinese explorers or underlings to go search the islands [which are now Japan and Korea], but when the soldiers got there, they didn't wanna go back & just settled, lived in what is now Japan and Korea. & Besides, think. Wouldn't Chinese be the original? Why would Japan, 'the original' have less population than China? LOGICCCC~ :D
