I do that same thing to, I had lots ideas for stuff and I try to work on it then I just leave it for a long time.(the gags cough, cough)

Yeah, that's true, staring at a screen for long periods of time does give me a headache. I guess I've built up a tolerance for it.

I tend to binge-art. I'll work on something for a long long time, then not touch it again for awhile. I'm trying not to do that for this animation though since I want to show it to the PGR members as soon as I can.

This animation is killing me. Ive barely scratched the surface of it and my hands are already sweating from working for so long XD

yeah buying the tablet is a pain but worth it! I don't know I don't get distracted with traditional cause I get fixated on it for hours but digital I get distracted every 5 mins, then I give up! Like now....@_@

Well, buying a tablet does shell out a decent handful of money, but if you do digital art enough, it's well worth it imo.

lol, I get distracted doing traditional art too, but I suppose at least if I work traditionally, I don't have the temptation that is internet hanging over me XD

On the plus side, when you do digital work, you have no mess to clean up, you don't have to mix colors, and you don't need to buy new supplies X3

It just takes practice to get used to.

Nah, I'm way to lazy to draw, scan, then trace. I'm better at traditional art than digital, so it would probably come out better, but laziness generally wins for me XD

I see, I thought you did a pencil sketch first for a base then did the rest digitally.

I draw it directly on the computer. That way when I make a new layer for the next frame, I set the previous frame to 50% opacity so it can be a guide. This helps keep each frame the same size and in the proper position.

Patience? Nah. I look for shortcuts constantly, and take breaks frequently since drawing each frame does seem tedious at first, but seeing the end result makes it all worth it in the end. I see the final version in my head, and that's the only thing that drives me forward.
