This is my way of coping with the loss of my pokemon T________T
Come! Discuss the crazy things that have happened to you on your video games. What glitches can you warn us of? What glitches are inexplicable? Anything you think is out of the ordinary.... This is where to post it! If anyone wishes to post, lemmie know!

Who needs the Megaton Hammer?

When Zelda, Ocarina of time fist came out for the N64, my cousin bought it. When I watched him play the first time, I thought it was so cool that he could swim without drowning and ride a horse and jump! He was defeating th Water Temple at the time.
Then I went out and got the game, and defeated the whole game again and again. Then I learned that my cousin had not defeated it yet. He let me play his game one day and I went to an area where I knew there to be a hidden grotto. Pressing start, I went through my items, searching for the megaton hammer.

Me- Uh. Where's your hammer?
"Hammer? Just use a bomb."
Me- Didn't you defeat the Fire temple?
"Duh!"
Me- There's a giant totem that leads to the Boss Key. You have to smash that totem to bits in order to get the Key, defeat the Boss, and pass the fire temple.
"Oh that? I just pushed it out of the way.
Me- 0_o? You can't push it out of the way, You need the hammer!
"I have no idea what you are talking about!"

So I think that may be why he did not defeat the game: He didn't have the Megaton Hammer (which you use many times thereafter!)

Moral of the story:Just because you are strong enough to push massive totems out of the way, does not mean that you should ignore the help that tools or other people have to offer. If you simply rely on brute strength you will find, when you are in a crisis, that your resources are very limited.

The legend of.... GLITCH!

Okay, so I was probably beating the game Zelda, Ocarina of time, for the N64 for the third time when this happened.

Link: Ladeedadeedadeeda. I think I'll go get that Big Goron Sword, find Zelda, and beat Gannandork!
Big Goron: You must do a couple of tasks first: I need some eyedrops, so go get me some and I'll THINK ABOUT MAYBE making you a sword. But watch out, those ingrediants will expire!
Link: Fine. Why do I always have to hike across the world to do good for you all!Maybe Gannandork is right! I am a goodeygoodeytwoshoes!!!!
Link travels to take the expiring eyedrop ingredients when... a pretty pony catches his eye.
Navi: HEY! You havent been to Lon Lon Ranch yet to see Epona and YOURE HOW FAR IN THE GAME?
Link: I know I know!
Link wanders over to the Ranch, races the evil Horse guy- but the time limit for the ingredients and the time limit for the race clash and.....
Link- I cant move navi.
Navi- .....
Link- The games frozen T___________________T

Moral- Don't procrastinate saving Epona and then multitask. Set your priorities straight!

Infinite skulltulas on the wall, shoot one down take the token, infinite skulltulas still on the wal

Okay so as kid link in Zelda Ocarina of time (N64), here is something helpful I found out! Go to Zelda's castle, sneak past those pesky guards, and go to the random tree past the moat and close to the gate. Play the sun's song for the tree and a hidden grotto opens up!

.... okay that wasnt the glitch- this is!....

Find the Gold skulltula (I think you must bomb one of the fake walls), and kill it. Do not collect the token. Return to the shining platform that will return you to the surface but do not step on it. Now, using your boomerang, retrieve the token. As soon as you recieve it and the text appears, telling you all about skulltulas, cut it off mid sentence by stepping back upon the teleportation platform. Now on the surface, check your menu to find you have killed one more skulltula on record!
Play the suns song go back in the pit, destroy the fake wall aaaaaaaaaaaaand the gold skulltula is still alive?!

Repeat the process above as many times as you like, but once you mess up, like you dont teleport at the right moment, then the glitch will be over and the skulltula will truly be gone forever.

This is very helpful!
