Thanks for the explanations! yes I already kinda understand that was the reason for not doing the promotions more often, but I feel that's not really fair for the people that are actually active though... :I I mean if you aren't active, You don't complain if you don't get promoted, is just this simple to understand, no ? =_="

Back in the old Otaku days members did indeed got promoted on a monthly bases, how ever since so many members left or deleted their accounts members don't get promoted as often as they used too.... A few members posted about this in the past...
I think the main reason for this is becuase theO itself isnt as active as it used to be...Imagene (Just for example) just 3 or 4 people are very active and 300 others arn't? Adam and the staff members won't be able to just promote 3 members or 4 as for it may cause confict Amoung the members, Some might say it's unfair....
So basicly the more people that are active the quicker members will be promoted^^ That's how the system works.....
You will be promoted soon though^^ It has been months already..:)
Good things comes 2 those who wait, The things you lost will always replace something better..
To my understanding it's based off of how a five you are with the site and what you do on it. Think of it !like a points system. At least once a year you get a yearly promotion on your join date. Then you can get other promotions depending on how active you are (visiting gives lower points as commenting gives higher). Does that make sense?
Like take me for example, I haven't had a promotion for a while because I haven't been as active as I used to be. I've only been logging on and checking out my backroom seeing how fire dsl are doing. While that does give points, in not actively participating in anything on the site. Now, I've been more active lately because I'm in school again and I have things to post and talk about. Which means I'm commenting more.
I'm not saying I'll for sure get a promotion or that I'm expecting on, I just have a higher chance with my increased activity. That's what it boils down to is activity and how many people meet the criteria depending their otaku titles. I hope that all makes sense. If I'm wrong about any of this please correct me.
They're not always the best at keeping up with promotions O.O
If I remember correctly, it takes a number of months, then eventually years, to be promoted to different levels. I think they may not do promotions every month so they can wait to promote the most people at once?
