Haha, would be bad if it was otherwise and everyone could do things exactly the same, no?
Oh, that´s probably only because I have a LOT of markers (was saving up, after all). And the truth is, everyone makes mistakes even after getting better, but that´s also because we get stricter with ourselves in the process.
well that's just natural, everyone has it's own way to do things, even more in art I guess, beside your art it's so amazing! I will never get tired to saying it, besides you can shade your draws only using markers, I would never be able to do it! ( and believe me, even if I got better I still do a lot of mistakes in my draws.. )
I´m really stunned about the difference. I like how you first draw the basic colors for everything (and honestly, I can´t spot any mistakes anywhere) and then add the highlights. I realize that´s how nearly everyone does it, but somehow it doesn´t fit well with me, lol.
oh yeah it's very easy to use and gives good effects! ahah I just got a little better with the inking lately, but not so much time ago I always did a lot of mistakes in my draws
I use a4 print paper! I'ts pretty thick and good quality, but still nothing special! it resist many layers of alcohol based markers just fine! the only problem is that the color bleed through the paper so it's necessary to put something below.

this is a really nice technique, I really like the effects and it seems a little easier to blend! I'll have to see if I try this sometime! :D
By the way, what kind of paper do you use for marker?
In my view using different medias makes drawing so much funnier! in fact I can do only mixed media draws. I admire those who can shade markers with other markers oh I would love to see watercolor from you! watercolors are HARD to use!
So cool to see how adding another medium brings so much more life to the drawings!!!! I've done a watercolor + colored pencil multimedia painting before and it was SO much fun. I'm definitely going to do more in the future.

This is awesome! The marker and pencil work so well together. I love how much life and depth the pencil shading adds. So cool to see your coloring process! ^^
It's just normal a4 print paper! I use that most of the time actually for my drawings, since it resist alcohol based markers just fine! but if you use it remember to put another sheet of paper below because it will bleed and stain all above otherwise! (i stained my beautiful desk the first time )

Wow, your art looked good in the marker version, but the addition of pencil makes a huge difference! You are really talented at shading ^^

I like what you did there. What kind of paper did you use? I'm asking because I'd like to try this myself sometime.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
