It's understandable. "tv ruins the brain" line. At least you can watch it ow that you're wiser.
I still play the Pokemon games. Tho I need to finish the games I have & stop getting more x3
Hope you were able to check him out. My favorite is Tokikake then Summer Wars. I haven't seen his latest film, but I bet I'll like it. If you need more recommendations, let me know!
No problem! But I hope you like romance/shoujo anime then, cuz thats what Fruits Basket and S.A. is about! I think they were funny too tho!
OH LUCKY YOU!!!! Thats awesome!
Thanks a ton!
I'll get to those before the others in that case.
I'm getting every Studio Ghibli movie tonight for christmas
(I know because I was promised it last year but my parents forgot-now there is a new movie though so I'll get more in the same collection ^^)
Have a great time : )
Wow, Haitaka! This was really neat to read^^ I wasn't allowed ti get into Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh when I was younger either, and I'm a huge Ghibli fan as well! *highfives* Thats super!
I just finished going over all the Ghibli movies again^^ I borrow them from my library every summer :) But I haven't been able to find Tales from Earthsea yet, I'll have to find it online!
Ooo Fruits Basket is pretty nice and I loved S.A!! Those are my favourite from you list of manga/anime u still need to read/watch!
My parents didn't fancy Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh. Too much violence and "sparse clothing".
Kind of true, I guess. Their clothing is rather skimpy when you think about it.
However I did play the Pokemon games! My childhood wasn't THAT deprived ^_^
I'll check out the artist you mentioned, sounds awesome!
Aw, you have a gf.
Why weren't you allowed to watch anime?
Studio Ghibli usually has good films. Spirited Away is my fav. I personally like Hosoda Mamoru works. I can't explain why. It's like he can take something simple yet weave to make it more than it appears. Like the saying the little details are really big details.
