The men don't do too much, that's true.
Just finished the episode there Benny meets the blonde Indian girl, and they fall in love ^^ That's actually only the second occurrence of romance so far (no, I do not count the twins as romantic at all!)
A while back I watched Gigguk's list of 20 most badass anime characters on YouTube, and Balalaika was featured (for obvious reasons). After that i just HAD to watch the series because it looked so cool ^^ And it is!
In my opinion, Balalaika is the most badass character of the series, however the Black Lagoon group is pretty awesome too. I don't really care much for the Church of Violence, though.
The freakiest character is either the chainsaw girl (don't know her name yet) or the Hansel/Gretel twins. The twins' deaths were... distasteful.
It's a shame you don't use your Tumblr, but then again I barely ever use my Facebook.
