My gf gave me a mission-make sure that the two females pair up with the correct males so the FT pairing isn't ruined. Lucky for me I won't have to isolate them since one of my females (Levy) chose to reside in Gajeel's territory. She's also pregnant already-might have baby Betas soon ^^ But anyway, it's just me being proud of my non-failure : )
Well my tank is a 40 gallon with lots of plants (more than one would typically add) and roots so the betas and other fish don't have eye contact for very long. If a fish goes right in front of the beta it's going to get chased away-but only a couple of inches or so before it's out of sight. In a normal aquarium it is not a good idea to keep the animals together that I do. But under certain conditions and if you get lucky (my betas are really peaceful-I've had some what weren't) it can work out : )
