I began to wonder if the other bats had seen what'd become of their friends. After my little incident, I had no more problems getting over that joke of a mountain, through the plains and to the village for that matter. I had made it there by sunrise. And that is where I had sat...ALL DAY. I would've gone inside...if not for one little problem...
"Just be patient. You will await the arrival of your classmates...demon." That's what he'd said. That Bastard Angel. And he stood there the whole time...just waiting for me to run in and get blasted by him.
I had sighed loudly and sat down...and I waited.
"I HATE WAITING..." I snarled slamming my fist to the ground. The sun moved from one side of the sky to the other, and then finally signs of life appeared. Two silhouettes...two FEMALE silhouettes. I smirked and stood up, dusting off the dirt and walking to greet them. It was the two maidens from the meeting. The vampire ladies.
As I approached, I clapped loudly. "FINALLY Someone gets here!" I called out to them. "And what better than two beautiful little ladies. Ciao Bellas...tell me...did either of you take the BRIDGE?" I asked them with a sadistic smirk. Oh how I hoped it was the little kitten.
"Afraid not." The short one commented, a look of disgust on her face.
I threw my hands up in the air. "Oh well, it wasn't for you anyhow." I then turned my eyes to Jezabelle. "Oh Bella...pardon me...but I do believe I have won a certain bet we made." I spoke, a huge grin finding it's place on my lips as I closed in on her. She avoided my eyes, but I grabbed her just under her chin and turned her face to mine. "I do hope you are a lady of your word....I've been-"
"HEY BACK OFF!" Someone shouted approaching. My eyes narrowed and I threw him a killer glare. It was that rebellious fool, James. I thought he knew his place, when addressing me. Perhaps I should show him...I stalked towards him...until another appeared between he and I.
"Where are the others Makoto...you haven't started killing have you?" The other man spoke.
"What's your name again??" I spoke thinking back. "Kouri...or something?"
"Shori..." He stated bluntly.
"Ah yes...you belong to her...I haven't forgotten." I smirked. Turning, my eyes fell back to the angel...he was watching me...as though he was waiting for just a SINGLE reason to destroy me. "Pfft...as if he could." I mumbled. Looking back at Jezabelle with a cocky grin, I pointed at her. "You and I...will settle our 'bet' later Bella. I must say...I'm looking forward to it." A playful look in my eye, I walked back to my chosen place...away from the crowd.
"Watch your back, demon. Student or not, if you become a danger, I will kill you." The angel spoke lowly.
I glared at him, a smile on my face. "I'd like to see you try. Labels aren't holding me back...I don't care who you are...get in my way and your dead. ANGEL."
A look of disgust remained on his lips as he turned his gaze back to looking for the other students.
"They better hurry up and get here...or all the demons are MINE!" I snarled, crossing my arms with impatience.

Beat me in a race to the village...never. I'd probably be done by the time ANYONE would show up...
Flying over the vast forest, I could hear them: the cries of the other students as they were attacked one by one. Sitting comfortably with my arms crossed...I tried to ignore it, but was failing miserably.
"AWWWW I wanna be the one making them scream!!!" I tormented. "I wanna crack them all in half...cut out their eyes...SOMETHING....but no...I get to...what's this?" My cloud was suddenly swiped out of nowhere. "Or perhaps NOT!" I called out with excitement, standing up but never halting my progress.
I was approaching the deep chasm from the map. Again the cloud was swiped...a quick flying creature. My eyes started to glow from the excitement...when I drew out my closest friend. My Kanabo. It had heard the screams of many victims...caused the agonizingly long and tormenting end to their pitiful lives.
There were many clouds up here, that was the only thing clotting my vision. What had struck my cloud...it was TWO not one creature. Bat like...it was flying in an erratic pattern...but it's intention the same...to bring me down. Which...it was mistaken if it thought it was going to fly away now...
It flew past me again, I swung hard and...MISS!!! "OH WHAT THE HELL?!" I shouted in irritation. The other came at me head on, expecting the first had knocked me off balance. He thought to take advantage did he? "WRONG!!" Grabbing it out of the very air I head the creature up by it's neck.
"Foolish bat demon..." I smirked as it scratched my hands desperately trying to escape. Blood poured down my arms...yet my eyes glowed vividly as I took in every moment. "You see...I'd hate for you to count in my limit...therefore...I'm not satisfied for you to go so simply..." I cooed. My Kanabo vanished and I took hold of it's wing as I held it there. I ripped it off...the beast cried out in extreme agony. I then alternated...ripping off it's other wing. Once the whining stopped it wasn't fun anymore...so I dropped it off the cloud without finishing it off. The other swooped at me fiercely, and I just barely missed catching it as well.
"NOT THIS TIME!" I shouted and dove off the cloud. It didn't see this coming...for within moments it was in my grasp. My adrenaline made me careless however...I ripped it clean in half without enjoying it at ALL!!! Angry, I free fell for ages...until I was within the very chasm I was heading over...
Finally deciding it was enough, I threw my Kanabo at the rocky edge. Causing an instant reaction, hordes of rocks tumbled off the side. Turning myself upright I started hopping from one to the next, all the way to the other side of the rocky abyss. Looking back, I saw the bridge Brenin had mentioned. Smirking a bit, I pulled on one of the ropes...loosening it a bit. I almost felt bad for the next fool who crossed using it...Okay...no I didn't.
Laughing loudly I took to the skies once again...off to clear the land and then the mountain before me.

First that vampire with the fangs out came up. He had a rebellious flair about him...I wouldn't mess with him too much. He actually wasn't too bad of a guy once I started speaking to him, but I was sure he realized his limits when it came to me. And then came the beautiful woman from the meeting. She greeted me, a slight hint of a flirt in her voice, and so I returned it by greeting her back on my knee, a slight kiss to her wrist. I prodded for her name, and to my great surprise, she offered it to me this time. I suppose James didn't like that too much, he got a little defensive...which almost made me reconsider killing him off. Anything for a lady...
Things were somewhat pleasant. The 'claimed maiden' made her appearance, her beau by her side, and then a fallen angel as well. Then HE showed up...that sorry excuse for a roommate.
"Well if it isn't the little kitten." I chastised him.
"Shut up you waste of existence." He responded like a big man. If only he knew how quick I could snap his neck... "I came to inform you to stay out of my way out there."
I nearly laughed. As though he could give me orders. "What for? I'm going to finish off the enemy before you can lift a paw."
"Just stay away from the big demon cause he is mine." He continued unphazed.
"Yeah Yeah, we'll see." I mocked. I had no intention of handing it over. That demon would fall to my feet before the kitten here would have a chance to hiss at it.
The Teachers showed up, and we were given a map. This would be fairly easy for me...I wouldn't have to go through all the obstacles they were worrying about...and then I caught the comment the weapons and defense teacher said 'Sorry Sods...'. "Humph! Just who do you think you're talking to like that? Don't even lump me in with these wimps!" I shouted protecting my pride.
"Wimps? Maybe YOU should watch your mouth!" the kitty complained, getting in my face again. My eye twitched a bit the closer he came...as though he were confident he could take me on. Who did he think he was messing with me constantly?! His body language said it all=Blatant disrespect. I had just about enough of him...slowly I began to rise my power. "Say goodnight...pussy cat..." I muttered as I was about to destroy him...and then...
"ENOUGH!!!!" The Angel shouted, extending his wings as though he were threatening me. I winced seeing his disgusting wings and the light emanating from them...and so I withdrew my power and walked away a bit, containing myself and putting my hands in my pockets angrily. He lectured us, even going so far to threaten us demons.
"I hope you can back that up...ANGEL..." I commented, glaring at him and spitting to the side.
Finally, the talk was over and we all headed out. Getting a little ways outside the gate, I started to form my cloud. I let the rage wash away, and put a small smile back on my face at the thought of flying ahead. Jumping on, I lifted up a bit, then caught sight of Jezabelle and James, just ahead of me. Floating over to her, I smirked and extended my hand.
"What do you say Bella? Care for a lift? I promise it'll be a fun ride." I offered. "I would offer you a ride as well James, but sorry...only room for two...if you get my drift."

After the whole 'meeting thing' we were told we got out of class for the day to prepare. Humph...more time to sleep is what I said. I went back to my room, threw a quick bag together, and laid down. Like clockwork I was up at sunset. Immediately I headed out to the main gates. This mission was going to be a walk in the park. I could totally thrash ALL THOSE DEMONS by myself...though I suppose if there was more than ten, then I would be restricted. Damn Curse. My target, their leader. I started to think....no matter how simple this mission was...I could still let loose and kill something. In my book, that was ALWAYS a good thing.
"And if any of the little peewees around here get in my way...I'll kill them too." I snickered as I waited for the others to arrive.

After all my classes were over I laughed a bit to myself. There were some really LOW-CLASS Demons in this establishment. Most of 'em had probably never even broken any bones...or decapitated...or even did the most basic and feasted on the flesh of humans. A lot of them were just pampered little wimps.
I sighed and turned the corner, slamming right into a vampire. The vampire fell to the ground, getting up in a huff. "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?! I CAN HAVE YOUR HEAD FOR WHAT YOU JUST DID! DO YOU HEAR ME YOU-" He proceeded to scream. Cocky little Prince. Popping my neck as I cocked it to the side I slammed him to the wall by his throat in an instant, cutting him off from any further insult.
"Is that so? You can have MY head? I can have yours right now!" I sneered tightening my grip. His eyes were watering and his face beginning to turn a nice shade of purple. His hands were flailing around as he struggled to get loose, his nails digging into my skin and scratching me...but I didn't waver in the slightest. Even as my blood began to drip off my elbows, I couldn't help but laugh at his futile attempt. He started to get weaker...the life leaving him...it wouldn't be long now...
Then I heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Quickly. If this turned out to be an authority figure...this wouldn't look good. I wouldn't have any time to get rid of the body. I couldn't afford to get kicked out of this establishment...not until I had time to research. Dropping the vampire to the ground, he pretty much passed out from lack of oxygen. The next moment I was gone, not a trace of my presence in that hall evident.
I laughed loudly as I walked back to my dorm-room. That felt good, but in reality it only wetted my appetite. I wanted to kill now more than ever. Not only that, but all the humans in this place was making me hungry. I made a slight detour, right outside the dorm of the human girls, for here is where their scent was the strongest. I stood watching their windows...the light glistening outside gently. I crouched over and prepared to jump onto the second story when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Makoto Megami, I highly advise against that." The strict voice of my History teacher warned.
I stopped and faced him head on. "You do now, huh?" I challenged. "And what do you intend to do...should I NOT take that advice? Well ANGEL?"
His eyebrow raised a bit and he gave me a frightening glare...one that wasn't suited to an ANGEL. " I don't believe you'll LIKE that answer Mr. Megami."
My own eyebrow raised in curiosity. Part of me wanted to engage him right here...but just SEEING an Angel had killed my appetite so I withdrew without another word. As I walked away he called out one last thing to me. "A meeting tomorrow afternoon, don't miss it Mr. Megami."
"Yeah Yeah..."I affirmed while waving my hand backwards. I then made a break to my room for some sleep. My "roommate" wasn't in yet...probably off brooding somewhere...I collected my bag that I had cast aside, pulling out the contents slowly. My most prized masks...I gazed lovingly on them.
"Patrice...did he so much as TOUCH anything?" I asked the most TRUTHFUL of my masks.
"No my lord, he was not here long...left shortly after you did." She answered.
"oooooH You wanted to kill him already...didn't you master?!" Rico chimed in.
"But he can't, if he gets caught killing here then he'll be kicked out no?" Rita debated.
"That's never stopped Master Makoto before...he kills when he wants to aye?!" Marcos Sneered.
"You won't find anything of value here anyway...this is a hopeless venture, you should leave." Jean echoed his tone melancholy.
"Why thank you Jean...you've just made my suffering here more hopeful. If your lying lips tell me my answer isn't here...then surely it is." I laughed. "Now all of you keep watch, the night is young but I've a meeting tomorrow apparently. I'm going to turn in. Study my roommate, but keep your lips shut!" I smiled as I ordered them all into submission.
These masks...my most prized possessions that once belonged to the owners of the souls now residing within them. My spell had brought them in, and made them my obedient slaves for all eternity...
The next afternoon, I crawled out of bed and found my roommate fast asleep still. He would probably be late to the meeting...but did you think I was gonna wake him? Tough luck for him...shouldn't have glared at me and gotten on my bad side.
I left and walked into a room filled of varying races. My eyes zeroed in immediately on the females though. Two vampire females. Kneeling before the first, I took her hand and kissed the wrist gently. "Ciao Bella. Name's Makoto." I introduced. She seemed unenthused, but her eyes lingered on me nonetheless. I then attempted to introduce myself to the other maiden...but the man she was leaning on was clearly against it...I had no desire to pursue a "claimed" maiden anyway. Taking the seat nearest me, I found myself next to a clearly "rebel" vampire. Rebel, due to his protruding fangs. All of the vampires were quite tired...I saw them each seem to yawn a bit...some concealing it better than others. In came an angel. I glared at him as he quickly took a seat....on the floor!
"Hey Angel! Can't you sit in a CHAIR like the rest of us? Or is that too good for you?" I criticized harshly. I was quickly told to be quiet by what I presumed to be the principal, and he began his lecture.
Now we'd find out just why we were all summoned in the first place. It'd better be good.
