I think what you did was right. There is no excuse for saying someone's else work sucks. If was as good as he "claimed" to be, he should have given you constructive criticism. Not some crap about how much he disliked your work. I also want to thank you for hopefully getting him banned. People like him make art sites much less enjoyable.
geez wat a stupid air head, (tat guy) if you comment on people's work you should say nice things, is wat i believe. i hope he got banned. plus don't feel bad your art rocks. just keep practicing and you'll get better and better and better...

Yes, you do have a right to be mad. That guy flamed Rishi's art too, and rishi worked really hard on it, so Rishi got so sad she nearly cried...actually, she did cry.
But then Rishi saw you yelling at him. Rishi thinks you're really brave.

Jeez, this "guy" sounds like a jerk. I don't think he has the right to flame your artwork if he has none to show. You have every right to be upset if you have to put up with that kind of behavior.
But don't let his snobbish opinions discourage you from creating your art and growing your skills. You have great potential!

I'm glad you reported him. There's also a way to block people so that they can never see or comment on any of your work again. I'd suggest that you do that (If you don't know how, I'd be happy to tell you)
So, yeah, there are mean people out there. I like to believe that everyone is good on the inside, but I still don't put up with abuse like that, SO neither should you!!!! *hugs*
Just remember that your art is lovely. Plus, you seem to enjoy it (otherwise you wouldn't work to make it, right?) So, don't let anyone put down your work ^^ It only shows that they have issues, not you.

You do have the right to me mad. The way he said it was rude and disgusting. No one deserve to be ridiculed when they are first starting out. It takes practice and time to get better at something. I know I use gimp also and I can't for the life of me color in a drawing. They come out not even looking like pictures but blobs of color. I hope his sorry butt does get banned.
