Oh yes for hair it would definitely be useful! I always wondered how people got those shiny soft gradient over hairs and just in general coloring. LAYERS is the key i guess :P whoop.
oh man, i use overlay all over the place! obviously the final background gradient, but for a lot of places like hair, or general highlight and stuff, i'd lock layer and overlay! xDD (it almost feels like cheating) bahahaha~

mm.. different types of brushes and different layer effects can bring out that soft silky look.. i'm still defiantly refusing to emulate it.. xD

I never really use it for art! Only wallies. Perhaps one day I'll experiment with it xD
