Hey guys^^ Today iDefyn Oreki Houtarou! He's from the anime Hyouka and he's one of my anime characters...
He can be defined as the world's biggest sloth. He's an all around lazy guy and his main goal in life is "conserving energy" as he calls it. His motto is
"I don't do anything I don't have to.
What I have to do, I do quickly".
His friend Satoshi accuses him of living a grey coloured life as compared to other high school students who are apparently living a pink coloured life.
When he enters high school he gets a letter from his sister from who advises him to join the Classics club which is in the danger of being extinct. He joins the club and together with him his middle school friends, Satoshi and Mayaka also decide to join. Also he meets Eru Chitanda, much to his surprise. And it is Chitanda who changes his life and its perspective completely! Chitanda is the most curious person in the world. She pesters Houtarou so much that it becomes hard for him to say no to her smallest request. Because of that he finds himself in very hairy matters which enable him to show his intelligent compltely hidden side. It is also shown that Oreki has a crush on her, as he is seen fantasizing about her loads of times during the course the series; however, he comprehends this as a disturbance to his life. However, he later realizes that he does have feelings for Chitanda but he never gets around telling her.
So guys that Oreki Houtarou. He's an immensely enojyable character and those who haven't watch Hyouka, I recommend it to you. This is Houtarou :
