I know I posted earlier on your picture but truly wanted to let you know that am sorry for Gypsy's departing. For all the years that I have known you Gypsy seemed so loved and a very important part of your life and it touched my heart n so many ways how much she affected everyone. I haven't known personally what its like to lose a dog with snoopy but she will be missed. Truly she must be in a better place where she will no longer feel pain. My heart goes out to gypsys passing and her memory will always remain for the happy times. If you need to talk let me know, My heart goes out to you and xero and everyone else that knew yoru beloved gypsy.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know what it's like to lose a family member like that. We had a german shepard puppy when I was a baby. She and I were puppies together, at least, that was what she viewed me as. Reena was the first dog I ever knew. She was my sister. When we moved to the house we're now living at she found an old basketball. We didn't realize what it would do to her then, so we let her keep it... A year or two later we had to take her to the vet because she wasn't eating. The doctors found a piece of the basketball inside her throat, keeping her from eating. They removed it, but not in time. We got a call the next night saying she'd passed on. I can still remember my parents coming into my bedroom to tell me. They were crying and I was just too little to understand fully what had happened.
I wish I could tell you the pain will go away, but I know from experience it won't. It will just fade a little and go numb. The best thing you can do is keep the memories of her alive.
I can tell, though, that Gypsy was greatly loved. I hope she finds peace and that you and your family don't suffer too harshly.
