I'm at university now, beginning my seventh semester soon [scary shit! time flies too fast ;0;]...Currently I'm studying Japanese and East Asian Art History and hopefully I'll have my Bachelor at the end of this semester >_< I'm planning on going to Japan next year, but we'll see if that will happen.
I have to restudy everything from first year japanese studies, because my kanji/grammer/reading is awfully rusty. x_x
I love to draw and plan on upload a lot of pictures here, especially those still in progress, which I don't show anywhere else *fufufufu*. Another thing I love to do is write, but mostly in German, so yeah ^^''. I have only one story in English which is just....awful, because I wrote it back in high school. But I plan on drawing/writing two mangas in English (both fantasy, though the latter will be BL xD''). Hopefully I can reach a state where I can upload them (I'm awfully slow. and I used the word awful too many times now...).

there it is again...university. and I'm laughing (not in an evil way, more in a nostalgic "I was like that three years ago" way) at the new students xD most of them were walking to the train station because they still don't know the tram system sufficient yet xD (I do, hell, I know half or more of the line system by heart xD). Ah well.
But yeah. it's already 2 a.m. and I still have to go take a shower and prepare for tomorrow (not that there is a lot to prepare, I'll be going to zurich just for one f****ng lesson). but yeah. I don't really wanna go to that seminar ö_ö it's about visions of gandharan art. I'm not so into that, but yeah. can't help it, it's the only seminar provided by the art history section. and if I wanna get my bachelor this lifetime, I have to deal with it. same goes for the not any ounce more interesting seminar in japanese T___T'' but then again, the japanese seminar NEVER were interesting to begin with.

...after uni I'll have to go to the bank and change some more money...to euros *-* it's my connichi money! damn, I'm so nervous and excited!! I'll be going on wednesday night to a friend of mine, stay there (we'll be 4 or 5 people I think oô) and the next day we'll go to basel and from there heading to kassel (in the middle of germany). pheeew, I'm reaaaally excited! and I'll buy the nichi-tickets on wednesday afternoon...aaaah...well...I'm getting even more excited as I'm writing this xDDD~
ah well. I have to get so many things at the nichi xD my parents, my auntie and two friends already approached me for some gooddies ima shall bring home xDDD'' I don't know if I'll get the time to search for all those gadgets ö.ö and well...then there is my pile of things I wanna buy ö_ö which is...quite a lot. I can tell ya. it's always death for me in such places. I sincerly don't know how I'll get to cope with that condition (deadness???) in Japan xDD
anyway...I'll be having enough trouble finding all my friends there...I mean...with 5000 and more people attending there every day (I think it's way more, but I'm not sure...but at least 5000 ARE there). it's a huge areal, but still....there are so many cosplays, plushies, mangas, animes, freaks, more freaks, figures, CD's, merchandise...(*ima drooling just imagining it*). I'd say it's the only con I'd really spend my money to go to in my vicinity. the only other one I wanna visit it the japan expo in paris next year. but I've already checked out the Leipzig book fare and well...with that I don't need to check out the Frankfurt book fare (because it's smaller), and the Animagic, also somewhere in germany, doesn't seem to be that big either.
but nichi...hell, I know so many people going there, it's scary shit...
ah okey. it's getting even later. and I still haven't taken a shower. and I should kinda go and stop marvelling about something that will happen soon anyway.
ah..but it's soo....great...sooo much heaven on earth to believe it....

naaaah, university is coming closer day by day ;O; which means, my nights watching anime and tv series...drawing some more crap...reading some great books...till 5-7 a.m....are drawing to an end too TT___TT and I still do not know if I can do Master stuff yet. I have to ask tomorrow at university to see if I can (while visiting actual Bachelor classes). but yeah, I'll be definitely happy if I can't, too. because that means I have some more spare time. I'll go to university every day though...maybe leaving one day out or so, but no more. I promised myself that I would restudy everything I had in the first year of japanese (which means the most horrible grammar classes I've ever had and the Kanji classes...and so on...).
that said, these things need hell of a time. and I intend to do them every day. I could do them at home, BUT there is my laptop. AND internet. EQUALS ima doing everything but learning.
I want to have a travelling scholarship for japan, so it is really needed T_T
aaah well...but with university coming, something other will be coming soon too....THE CONNICHI *3*

I will be wearing a japanese thing there...hoping at least to fit in with all the cosplay people xDDD (and there will be mainly cosplay people there. you can't escape there. if you're going in civil, you feel like totally fail) and I'll going to a hetalia group event, which I'm looking forward too *___*~ and god do I hope that people will draw in my conhon (that book I always take to events like that so that people will draw into it :3).
other than that...I still haven't configured my ipod yet...there is still so much I have to learn about that thing D: I downloaded a handbook though, which I hope will give me the answer to my current ipod-problemd :D and till then I can use my handy (which is supernice when it comes to listening to music *-*).
and since I finished the book "the steel remains" (one of the greatest books I ever read, but please...if you're not into BL...cut it out. it has quite interesting sex scenes - WHICH I NEVER WOULD HAVE EXPECTED - that are ...quite...specific. and great...but yeah. there are a total of three main characters ->1st male and gay ->2nd male and straight ->3rd female and probably lesbian...but nobody warns you of that when you just read the back of the book cover oô but still. I love myself for buying it, since I bought it rather impulsively (the cover art was just too awesomely done)). but yeah, that richard morgan sure has a way of writing...I totally fell in love with that book (which has absolutely everything nothing to do with the scenes mentioned above), and I'm really eager for the second one to come ^^ and it'll probably come out when the third book of the shadow series from tad williams will come out, so yeeha, there will be a book feast for me next year :D...that said, I actually wanted to say that I'm reading a book by robert rankin, called necrophenia, which is quite hilarious too. his typical dark sense of humour and a lot of rubbish put in a stunningly intelligent way, so that you have a lot to laugh :3 (that's something I'm gonna miss too, when I'll start university u_u)...
and...soooon, very soon, the last episodes of pandora hearts, 07 ghost, tears to tiara and phantom ~ requiem for the phantom will be out :D I'm quite eager to know how they will end, especially 07 ghost being an anime I love a lot x3 aaand...some series are getting started very soon (now talking about actual, real tv-series). I'm so waiting for them *-* the mentalist, medium, bones, criminal minds, supernatural, ghost whisperer...those and a bunch more...wheee >.< can't wait for them to start, since most of them just ended awfully mean! (they always to that. to make ME think about it the whole friggin summer break!!!). nah, anyway, the time where I will know how it continues is drawing veeery close, mahahaaa!

I honestly dislike facebook, but darn, so many people already invited me there, that I really had no other choice whatsoever to decline.
now I really hate that everybody can search me after my name -_- sure, I still get to chose who can see me and who cannot...but still...how many people with my name exist on this earth? (I can tell you: NONE). anyway, I wanna see if I can get a pseudonym which most of my friends would understand and would not object to facebook's policy...tataaa...
but it's astonishing...after some hours I already have 32 friends...just so you get how many people already asked me (and there are still a lot who didn't yet confirm)...scary shit, I tell you D:

other than that, I went to the bank today ^^ sent the money for the friday ticket on the connichi and changed the dollars so I can pay for the ipod my colleague bought (YES, the currency change was 1.022 *_* which means it was nearly like swiss franks, mahahaa).

first of all, when I woke up today, my new handy was here *_* my mom has a contract where she receives a handy every year or every two years. anyway...now was the time again. since my mom - I apologize for the words used - is too dumb to use those features of the new handies to some extent (actually, she only knows how to pick up the phone and call), she always gives the new technology to her daughter - which pleases her daughter very much.
now I have a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Red (I actually wanted it to be blue, but yeah. they didn't have it on stock. I guess, red can be cool too). Since my old handy was a Nokia too, I could easily switch all the info to my new handy and it even has some handy pendants on it >3< I reaaaaally love it *_* it's nearly kinda like an i-phone. it's not like I really wanted an i-phone or a phone with touch-screen technology anyway, but it's still pretty cool. the good thing is, it even had a micro SD card in it (8 GB *_____*), which I already filled with tons of music >3<

and it gets better :3 since I couldn't go to america, I thought I'd buy an i-pod here. turns out a colleague of mine could buy it there...so yeah. this week or so an i-pod classic, silver, with 120 GB should be waiting for me too ^o^
aaaah...I'm really happy :D I want to buy an external harddrive too, but that can wait, since I can fill my soon to be i-pod with my stuff, so my poor lappy will have some space xD~

okey, enough of sparkling ima thoughts...hope you guys are doing well! despite some of you having had to start uni/college/school/whatever already. I still have two weeks of happiness. though I really should prepare ö_ö I have to do some translation stuff and search for good topics for my really hard exam at the end of the semester...but yeah. this can wait xD

nah, anyway, ima is still on swiss soil. it happened because of a very, very stupid error happened: back in june, I had to renew my passport. at that time I had the choice to either chose a normal swiss passport or a biometric passport. because the normal passport is valid for ten years and only costs like 150 bucks (-> biometric is only valid for 5 years, costs 250 bucks and takes weeks to do it), I took the other one. they told me with the ESTA visa I had I shouldn't have any porblems.
but.
the day came.
19th of August, ima is in the check in. all papers there, full packed, every detail tripple checked.
but.
asked for passport and papers I receive a "sorry Ma'am, you can't fly today. you either show a valid visa, green card or biometric passport". so, my flight was cancelled and I was A LITTLE BIT devastated. my colleagues were really nice, hugged me and all, but yeah. ultimately there was nothing that could be done to change my fate. the flight was gone, so were all the consecusive ones (is to say, flight from chicago to new york and from there to zurich). and there is no chance whatsoever to restore or rebook them. so my money was gone too. I'm very happy that I thought about the travel protection a few days before the flight, so now I will go and check if maybe I can get the money from the flight and the money from the hostel - that won't refund the money - back.

other than my total devastation that moment, I felt rather good afterwards. I had a really bad feeling about this trip somehow. maybe it wasn't meant for me to go.
AND, now comes a really nice bonus. since I now have a lot of money gathered for the flight, I will use it to go to the convention in germany (maybe some of you heard of it...it's the Connichi in Kassel), which I wouldn't have been able to visit because of lack of money xD and I will be able to meet a loooooooooooooooot of friends. and next year I won't be able to go to conventions because I want to go to Japan, so it's better I see all my friends this year ^______^~ and my mom already told me she wants to go with me to new york (which is more selfish than you might think *is the only one in the family who actually is able to communicate in English so that other people might understand me*)... but yeah, she was really nice to me. I was kinda astonished xDDD~ my parents felt really sorry for me (more than I myself I think xD).
and now that my parents are in rome, I can visit some friends over to my place ¦D (one is playing ookami right now)...so yeah, there is some good to be seen from this situtaion here xD
so, sorry, I can't provide you with nice photographs from chicago or new york, but I sure will take some pics at the connichi ^3^
