For the world backgrounds, you go into the 'design' section of the 'my worlds' part of the backroom.

You click the world you want to design, and you can put in the color of the background, color of texts, and a background image. The best way to go for background images is to make the posts transparent. There is a box at the bottom that you can check mark that allows you to do that.

I don't think that there is actually "featured" artwork anymore. The "most active" screen that comes up when you click on 'fan art' in my opinion is I guess, just a way of going backwards through the art work. Or maybe it is for people who are active in lots of categories, and this get their art on the first page? Truthfully, that's one thing I can't answer.

As for the background, do you mean a wallpaper? Or for a world? I know a bit about the world putting up of bgs, but not much about on the actual site now. I'm never put up a wallpaper on theO before, so unless the directions are super clear, I don't know anything about it.

Though I have heard there are lots of problems with the wallpaper section recently. *shrugs*
