4. I was actually originally the quiet kid who didn't really know enough to even think to try. I think the change in perspective happened about the time we moved and I was put into public school.

5. I feel bizarre answering this because there are so many little answers and reasons for being this way. But the bottom line is this: how can I possibly give advice and expect to be listened to if I don't heed my own words? Just as being in a position of authority demands that you keep yourself above reproach, so that when you do have to use that authority, your actions aren't in question; so also having the ability to understand situations and people and having been granted the wisdom to know the right thing to do means you should at least be able to apply your words to your own life first.

But along with that, and as you have known for some time, I am Christian, and I therefore set myself a higher standard than I set for anyone else because I have already had such a standard set for me and I am committed to uphold that standard by the simple declaration of my faith. If you want to gain a better understanding of that aspect, I urge you to find a copy of the Bible, preferably the New American Standard or the New International Version translations for the sake of clarity and ease of understanding, and read through Paul's letter to the Romans—but read it as if you were reading a legal document, because Paul was trained as essentially a Jewish lawyer and he uses that training and knowledge of the Old Testament to go through and prove step-by-step the basics of our faith.

5. Why are you so hard on yourself at times? I think you see others fairly clearly but tend to be a bit unforgiving towards yourself where if it was someone else, you'd be more understanding.
6. How you can always figure out what I'm thinking. It makes sure our conversations are never boring. I also love how we'll often be thinking along the same lines and find out later that we were doing so.

I just realized that I never answered your question!

Anyway, simple answer is I like movies because I like fiction. When taken to their limit just right, movies are a completely different way of telling stories than books or TV shows or music or whatever else. It takes a special skill to wrap a viewer up in a world, story and characters in a relatively short amount of time. Plus, the movies have always seemed so much larger than life to me, probably due to the theater. Even though it's expensive as hell now, there's almost nothing that beats seeing the perfect movie in a theater for me.

And movies don't get boring for me because I try to be open enough to experience a wide variety of stories. Maybe I'd get bored if I watched only science-fiction, or slapstick comedies, or crime thrillers and so on, but as long as I'm adventurous enough to try something different that might not necessarily be in my comfort zone, then the movies will never get boring to me.

So yes, I did really know, but I tried to ignore the fact. :(
7. Mm, yeah, I do. When I'm at school and around the kids my age, I desperately don't want to fit in because I don't think the way most of them act is appropriate. I think I try to fit in on here more because I don't want to seem to be like a little kid. Which goes back to worrying, which I'm prone to. :<

I came up with it myself in my first-year Japanese class because my actual name sounds really awkward and clunky when you pronounce it with a Japanese accent, so I shortened it to make it easier on everyone. When I started hanging out with other people in the class, they just kept calling me that and it stuck.
