4. I was actually originally the quiet kid who didn't really know enough to even think to try. I think the change in perspective happened about the time we moved and I was put into public school.
5. I feel bizarre answering this because there are so many little answers and reasons for being this way. But the bottom line is this: how can I possibly give advice and expect to be listened to if I don't heed my own words? Just as being in a position of authority demands that you keep yourself above reproach, so that when you do have to use that authority, your actions aren't in question; so also having the ability to understand situations and people and having been granted the wisdom to know the right thing to do means you should at least be able to apply your words to your own life first.
But along with that, and as you have known for some time, I am Christian, and I therefore set myself a higher standard than I set for anyone else because I have already had such a standard set for me and I am committed to uphold that standard by the simple declaration of my faith. If you want to gain a better understanding of that aspect, I urge you to find a copy of the Bible, preferably the New American Standard or the New International Version translations for the sake of clarity and ease of understanding, and read through Paul's letter to the Romans—but read it as if you were reading a legal document, because Paul was trained as essentially a Jewish lawyer and he uses that training and knowledge of the Old Testament to go through and prove step-by-step the basics of our faith.
1. You're a keeper. I can't imagine not having you as a friend.
2. White. Clean and purifying. You see to the heart of matters.
3. Some of your jokes at OB in posts were religious in nature and yet that of someone who wasn't above poking fun of it. I found it rather refreshing and started keeping an eye on you.
4. You remind me of that quiet kid who sees everything and actually understands what is going on.
5. Why are you so hard on yourself at times? I think you see others fairly clearly but tend to be a bit unforgiving towards yourself where if it was someone else, you'd be more understanding.
6. How you can always figure out what I'm thinking. It makes sure our conversations are never boring. I also love how we'll often be thinking along the same lines and find out later that we were doing so.
7. I miss that you're not on as much. I'm not either, but I love getting the chance to talk to you. :)
I just realized that I never answered your question!
Anyway, simple answer is I like movies because I like fiction. When taken to their limit just right, movies are a completely different way of telling stories than books or TV shows or music or whatever else. It takes a special skill to wrap a viewer up in a world, story and characters in a relatively short amount of time. Plus, the movies have always seemed so much larger than life to me, probably due to the theater. Even though it's expensive as hell now, there's almost nothing that beats seeing the perfect movie in a theater for me.
And movies don't get boring for me because I try to be open enough to experience a wide variety of stories. Maybe I'd get bored if I watched only science-fiction, or slapstick comedies, or crime thrillers and so on, but as long as I'm adventurous enough to try something different that might not necessarily be in my comfort zone, then the movies will never get boring to me.
Lol, no my typos are because I type too fast and I don't realize my typos before I hit enter. Like when writing a comment I can revise it with spell check and everything. My fingers just go crazy sometimes. ^^'
You know that someone truly cares when they brick you like that. -AZ
Let's see, I first talked to Adam in like...2001 or so. I was aspiring to make an awesome web page. I thought TheOtaku was very spiffy looking so I sent him an email. We wrote to each other a few times until he gave me his AIM and the rest is history!
Six-year-olds and nuclear weapons: a combination that just can't be beat.
You seem to have me pegged pretty well. As far as #5, I siad something in Chat on day about something taking me into my 20s to figures out, and he flipped out that I was in my 20s. When I told him I'd be 30 this year, he kind of adopted me...
;w; *tackles indi* my dad found me some website that had galleries of anime art from a bazillion different shows.. i started copying cardcaptor sakura art o3o and it just went from there :DDD
Since I don't get out much and don't really have any friends around here to hang out with, maintaining contact with all of the people I know around here is what helps keep me sane. :3
I love Movie Sign because comedy like MST is better when shared with lots of other people. :D

5. At the time it seemed like a decent way to make a living. And then it became a deal of yes I CAN do this. It scared the heck out of me at first though. ^^

4. And the jumping is getting worse and worse. xD
5. When I was 8 or 9 years old and originally found the site, I didn't sign up because I found something that said if you were under 13 and joined, it would hurt the site. When I ventured back for whatever reason, I searched, couldn't find anything, and signed up. I'm sure it was there and I wasn't looking hard enough because I didn't want to find it. So yes, I did really know, but I tried to ignore the fact. :(
7. Mm, yeah, I do. When I'm at school and around the kids my age, I desperately don't want to fit in because I don't think the way most of them act is appropriate. I think I try to fit in on here more because I don't want to seem to be like a little kid. Which goes back to worrying, which I'm prone to. :<

2. Blue. Can be calm but also willing to sacrifice or rather compromise.
3. When you were staff on theOtaku. I wanted to dislike you but you kept having these moments of logical and well reasoned thoughts. So I kept getting curious to find out more about the real you.
4. Number one really. You're very into things and people take it at face value instead of realizing your just intense about things you like. Like the fangirl aspect and not being a crazed one.
5. I've always wondered if you thought I was an annoying twit as well at first. lol
6. Your goofy nature in chat is fun.
7. I think you hide things that bother you a little too much. Only bothers me since sometimes I think you could use a hug when you're feeling down.
1. The elusive Stabbit Stalker. Or perhaps shy.
2. Green. I see you as a salad person.
3. I noticed that you were friends with Allamorph.
4. One of those friendly kitties that loves everyone given a chance.
5. How did you meet Allamorph?

5. What is it about that movie sign that attracts you?
6. You seem to be pretty friendly towards anyone on the site.
7. I rarely see you these days.
1. That is more common than you'd think, but I also like gender-sniping because I get some sort of sick kick out of it.
3 & 5. Honestly, I totally forgot I wrote that until I looked at the featured section on my portfolio. I just have the tendency to get really, really irritated and then go into a super!rage. Besides, that rant (I read it over) didn't even get into how ticked I was about some of the other series I've felt have been treated unfairly or the personal gripe I have with TokyoPop. Basically, when I have opinions, I have opinions... and then usually need to vent. Don't even remember why I marked it as a Fan Word though. *shrugs*
Don't need a history for impressions though and I think I have enough for responding to you, foof.
1. I wonder if your typo's are because you want to fit in, foofers.
2. Green. One who seeks safety.
3. When Michi started calling you Foof in chat. That nickname at first made no sense whatsoever. lol
4. A lost puppy looking for affection. Though sometimes your a lost kitty who's thinking, I'm fine, buzz off. :p
5. I don't have something for here.
6. You just laugh off people poking fun of your typos. Shows you have a sense of humor and can laugh at yourself.
7. You haven't been around much so I wonder if you're going to just vanish one day.
1. As long as I get to sing songs too. P:
4. Don't I do that in chat already?
5. Well, I guess you could say it all started with InuYasha. Yeah, I know, strange. lol The feudal setting really interested me. And then I got more into anime, manga, all that stuff. Eventually it developed into a genuine interest and love for Japan.
6. That was something I had to learn over time. ^^;
7. Yeah, I've heard from my own mother before that most of the time I'm happy but when I'm upset I'm really upset, and that's probably when I take things way too seriously.

1. You're fond of the smile emote. Most guys tend to steer clear of it.
2. Blue. You strive to be productive.
3. You were talking to Beth in chat I believe and I wondered how the two of you knew one another.
4. Someone who hides a little behind a front of confidence. Yet you're fairly comfortable with who you really are.
5. What drives you to write?
6. You take all the jokes and silly nicknames you get in stride.
7. I don't think you mean it, but sometimes you come across as a bit indifferent to others who struggle financially. It's not a true dislike since I think it's unintentional on your part.
1. Spazz attack Mew on the prowl.
2. Yellow. A bright happy color.
3. Seeing you spazz like mad in chat. Wasn't sure what to make of it at first. lol
4. A happy kitteh who hides any discomfort she might be feeling. Not because you're afraid of fitting in but because you don't want to bring others down with your troubles.
5. What got you started as an artist?
6. Your happy go lucky friendly nature towards everyone. Lots of people could learn from that.
7. You hide your hurts too much.
1. TRIP MOBILE AWAY! Now go and get a license young lady. :p
2. Pink. Because you're always tickled pink.
3. Noticing that you were pretty smart for someone who probably wasn't 13 like the site requires.
4. A curious little kitten always poking her nose into things. She's hilariously cute when something startles her and makes her jump though. That right there, is Trip. :p
5. Did you realize you had to be 13 when you signed up for theO?
6. Your inquisitive nature. It's endearing.
7. You worry too much about fitting in at times.
1. You're a quiet little mouse at times.
2. Pink. For friendliness and lack of aggression.
3. Noticing that you and Raiha didn't get along at OB. Got me wondering just who you really were.
4. A quiet little rabbit probably. You do put your foot forward but not every often.
5. How do you know Adam? Besides waking the lazy bum up for bagels.
6. You're open to becoming friends with pretty much anyone and you don't seem to hold grudges.
7. You really do seem a bit too reserved and withdrawn. I feel like I have to almost pry to get stuff out of you. Not necessarily a bad thing though.
5. My current username is actually a small part of my real first name. I came up with it myself in my first-year Japanese class because my actual name sounds really awkward and clunky when you pronounce it with a Japanese accent, so I shortened it to make it easier on everyone. When I started hanging out with other people in the class, they just kept calling me that and it stuck.
7. If you met me in real life, you would see that I really am painfully shy. > >;
"I adore children. A little salt, a squeeze of lemon--perfect." -Harry Dresden
1. Shinooooo...maruuuuuu...
2. Purple. Highest value poker chip. Not that you gamble.
3. Reading about you in Dessy's TheDailyOtaku. And seeing you about with that avatar of a woman.
4. Beth stole my answer... KIDDING! If I were to associate you with something it would be Yoshi. Now go and beat Mario up for using you and abandoning you.
5. Why do you like watching movies so much? Does it ever get boring?
6. You like the color purple. No, seriously. A real man likes Purple. That and I just like talking with someone who can appreciate a show like Monster.
7. I don't really have anything for here. Nothing that translates into a real least favorite thing.
It might not be as accurate as I'd like but I do have some impressions about you so...
1. I thought you were a guy at first.
2. Brown. Truth is never flashy but bland and generic.
3. Your rage fanword that was taken down. At the time I felt like it was way overboard for a fanword on this site.
4. A passionate fan. If it interests you then you are quite into it. If it doesn't it may as well not even exist. :p
5. Why did you write such a heated post and submit it to be a fanword?
6. I don't have a real favorite thing yet. I do notice that your friendly in chat though.
7. Need to know moar about you for this.
1. That quiet neighbor down the street.
2. Gray. For your pessimistic side. Things aren't black and white, they are shades of gray.
3. In chat I noticed that you have a very subtle form of snark that goes right over most people's heads.
4. You'd be that cat or dog lady that everyone knows about but is too afraid to get to know. Except for those brave adventurous souls.
5. How do you know Adam?
6. You're laid back in chat and don't let the silly stuff bother you.
7. I don't know you as well as I would like.
1. Victor. You knew that was coming, right?
2. White. The one who holds up the flag of truce.
3. My first memory was realizing that you were friends with Mariskah in real life. And that you were actually close to where I live.
4. School Principal. :p
5. Why did you decide to drive a semi?
6. Your ditsy blonde moments. I know you're not dumb so they just make me giggle.
7. You worry over things that don't really matter. Like your grammar ability. It's not a big deal, it's just not necessary since people like you for who you are and don't really care if you make mistakes like that.
1. I see you as Isen in my mind.
2. Red. A feeling of action and confidence.
3. I can't really pin this one down other than a general feeling of noticing that you had great taste in manga.
4. That slightly quiet kid in class who turns out to be more than a little awesome.
5. What does your newer user name Kei refer to?
6. You have a sense of snark that I can totally relate to.
7. Sometimes you go quiet and reserved as if you are painfully shy.
1. If you were in ancient times, you would end up doing something like Mulan did.
2. Orange. It's a happy color and very fitting for you.
3. When you were making cracks about SMUT in chat. I could tell you were joking so it made me curious to learn more about you.
4. Someone who would engage in a food fight with glee instead of attempting to hide, you'd be in the front lobbing pies at everyone.
5. What sparked your desire to learn more about Japan and eventually go there?
6. Your dedication to something you really enjoy, but the part of you that doesn't let it become on obsession that gets in the way of enjoying the company of others who may not agree. Don't ever lose that.
7. Occasionally you seem to take things too seriously. Not to often, fortunately.
I laugh when people expect you to know them because they know you and you guys should have to have a history together because they said so.
That sounded a lot better in my head >>'

@Indi:
7. If you met me in real life, you would see that I really am painfully shy. > >;

Now go and beat Mario up for using you and abandoning you.5. Why do you like watching movies so much? Does it ever get boring?
6. You like the color purple. No, seriously. A real man likes Purple. That and I just like talking with someone who can appreciate a show like Monster.
7. I don't really have anything for here. Nothing that translates into a real least favorite thing.

@Nehszriah:

4. That slightly quiet kid in class who turns out to be more than a little awesome.
5. What does your newer user name Kei refer to?
6. You have a sense of snark that I can totally relate to.

@Miss Anonymous:
