Well even if the system needs work, I know I was pleased to see them serve a decent sentence this time. Before anyone was killed. Repeat offenders like that need to be behind bars, but you've heard me rant on that enough already. ;)

I could easily rant on how poor the penalties for drunk driving are, but I think it's not necessary. At least that's one drunk who won't be on the roads for a very, very long time.

I'm glad he got put away and sad that it took that kind of stupidity before the law did something, that's just messed up.

I too agree with Rach. Laws need to be tighter on these kinds of things. Of course, people would then argue that laws would be TOO strict.

If we could only live in a world where it didn't take people being hurt or killed to actually take appropriate action...

It's kind of sad when it takes being that messed up before the law will lay down a decent sentence.
