I do the same thing, drop stuff for school. And then I end up needing to start over because I can't remember what I was doing. o_O At least Portal is short, so if I do that, it won't take too long to finish it. =P

I want to play it. ^^ I'm going to ask Dad again if I can.

I wouldn't say that Portal's a violent game, so you'd probably enjoy it. It's all about problem solving and suspense, not gore and killing. There really isn't any of that, come to think of it.

I thought about it, but I get so squeamish over violence. o_O The concept, from what I've read online, looks like fun though.

It's one of those things that I meant to get and finally did last fall. I've been meaning to pick up Portal ever since Allamorph explained what kind of game it is. The joys of college, I don't play games anywhere near as much as I used to.

I'm still finding it super amusing that ALL of you are just now getting into the whole Orange Box / Portal thing. It's like a second Renaissance two years after the fact.

I'm tempted to replay Portal actually. It was a lot of fun. =3 GLaDOS never failed to crack me up with all of her sayings. I never did get around to playing any of the other games in The Orange Box. I probably should.

Eh? I have the option to go offline. The only time I can't is if it needs to download updates for a game. Once those are downloaded, I can. I've just never seen the point in bothering to do so.

Does the xbox 360 version not have the offline option?

I kept playing after this post so I'm on level 17 now. ._. I had forgotten some of the things the turrets will say. lol

I've never bothered to play it in offline mode. Mine is for the PC though and not for xbox 360, which I don't have... unfortunately.

I might start over myself since it's been a while. I can't blame school though. I just started playing Tales of the Abyss and never went back to Portal.
