...Tell them to go through their Bibles and look up the definitions for real love. Until they can selflessly love EVERYONE in such a way, including themselves, they're not ready for a relationship. When it's no longer about them or selfish, personal needs, then they're ready. The ironic thing is-- if they get to that point, they just might realize they didn't need a significant other to fill whatever great void they had anyways.
