For worst case scenarios, orange juice makes a good withdrawal substitute for Mountain Dew. Probably because MD has orange juice in it...But it always nixed my cravings when I had to go off Dew.
As for braces and acne, I share your past pain...Scary, awkward, greasy psychopath kid. That was me. Now at least I have moderately clean skin, some confidence, and I'm an adult
