A kid at your school did the same thing to me when I was volunteering there. I don't remember who it was or what I was wearing [either one of my huge t-shirts or a pair of my guy cargos] but she latched onto that issue with more bite than a pitbull.
I adore kids, but they can be a little annoying when trying to get [and keep] your attention.
You and one other teacher deal with 14 kids. I, as the only adult on the bus, have to deal with upwards of 40-50 kids at once. Luckily, I only need to put up with them for about 20 minutes, but thats splitting hairs now.
Kids are cute, but especially the 5 and 6 year olds, they are the most stressful parts of my job, I gotta tell ya.

Cute kid... *cough* >>; Wonder what bee got in her bonnet? It raises the question, are there very strictly regimented gender roles in her family? Like, does her mother always wear skirts and stuff?
