Lol, yeah I know right. I was curious and did the same thing. All the sites I found for penpals were through email and they all seemed like dating sites. There was one site that I found that was based around international penpals but you couldn't contact them, they had to contact you first. (unless you subscribed to the site [paid money] XP). So yeah, it was all lame.
Email is ok, but there's something neat about actual hand-written stuff. I remember how I liked getting things in the mail from my penpals. I think it would be fun to do it again.
Y-yeah. When I did it in the past it was always with people I'd been talking to for some time already, so I guess we kind of knew/trusted each other enough to swap addresses (I was also still in highschool, and, you know... never thought creepy stuff would happen XP ).
I'd actually be more worried about going to a site set up for that sort of thing! At least if it's some random person off a site like this I'd know that our interests/mind set might be at least a little similar... it seems easier to get some kind of creep on another site
EDIT// So I was curious and googled penpal to see what kind of sites came up. Apparently it's all email now XP Lame, but safer, I guess. Also, most appear to be very much like a dating site. Which is.... bizarre. O_o

Cool, I love how you just colored over the sketchy lineart. :3 I like the arm, it looks neat.
And I know how you feel about penpals. I did that for a couple years, starting in 6th grade. I do miss having a penpal. I wouldn't mind trying that again, only I don't know where to start. (I was homeschooled for one year and the penpal thing came through the homeschool program.) I figured there might be a site or something, but like you said, a lot of people are worried about creepy stalkers. :/
