Thst happens to me sometimes, like I'll have a pen (we lose everything so they are rare in my house)or some other object in my hand while I look for somthing else, I place the object down absent minded, then I lose that object too! I might not be that far from putting a Ds in the frige.

I was getting some udon from the fridge and placed it in there while taking out the udon. Yeah, it still worked.

HAve you checked the refrigerator? I've left my DS in there multiple times by accident
