Indeed. D; I don't have good dreams anymore; I used to when I about 6 years old. Then, around that time I started having nothing but nightmares. The decapitation one wasn't the worst (just creepy seeing your own head roll on the floor); I did have one where I was bleeding all over to the place too. Someone shot me in the back of my head, and as I was bleeding, I was trying to reach my best friend and died in her arms. ;___; I woke up crying from that one.
I've had dreams that almost feel like they've slipped into reality; for example, I was dreaming that giant, vicious spiders were everywhere I and trying to kill me. When one finally landed on me, I awoke with a jolt and spotted something across my bed covers. It looked exactly like the huge spider, and it frightened my so much, I fell out of bed and spent another 10 minutes looking through my room.
Another time that happened was when I was having a nightmare that my mother was trying to murder me with a 7 inch steak knife. I was ducking behind every appliance, and managed to survive long enough to wake up, however, when I woke up---I saw a face right in front of my face, on my covers, with horns--- like a devil. Once again... I scrambled out of bed. //facepalm
Though, I had been sleeping at my brother's house, on their couch; where I had two very violent nightmares about my mother trying to kill me (two nights in a row). After that, I never slept on that couch again.
That's pretty bloody though; just the feeling of blood falling everywhere... disturbing. At least you were alight in real life! Though, that reminds me of a few dreams I've had, especially the decapitation one. ;____;

I hate dreams like that too. I have drowning dreams- and I really can't breath. It's really- odd.
