Yeah, there's a reason for that, which will become apparent Friday.
But yes, there is a kanji in this dialogue. I forgot I put it in there myself until Michi pointed it out, lol.

Just an FYI. There is no kanji in this conversation. The correct term is "kana" as there is only hiragana and katakana.
