I DIDN'T DIE~ :D -shot for late comment-
I love your sketches, by the way. Mine are always...weird, meaning something along the lines of drawing fat iguana-like creatures. Anyways, I hope you've had a good summer! (I haven't been able to get online when I was on vacation since my laptop broke D:)
You're not rambling. And I do sketch out the manga panels first before drawing, but my biggest downfall seems to be with scenery - ESPECIALLY architecture... I can do natural things like trees and such, but when it comes to architecture I'm not so good. My new story that's featured in my challenge A Modern Tale of Faery: Elven Blood starts off in an alley - like the slums - and I can't even do that. But I'm still trying.
bah dont be so down on yourself.
It is proven that making comics is a speedy way to improve, youknow. Plus ive been comicing for about 7 years now so that throws me in for a good long background x.D Try peeking through here...this guy really knows what he's talking about.
And for a personal hint, imagine it like an animation...how would you panel out the scene. then draft it out on notebook paper...which allows you to correct anything you see when you come back to sketch the final draft.
I think you have the potential...I was impressed with how you detailed your art and came up with simple yet effective designs when we did the arttrade. all it takes is dedication BD (sorry i did a ramble LOL DB )
Yeah, I thought Paypal had to be it cause theO doesn't, like you said, have a payment system. All the same, your art is wonderful and I'm always looking forward to seeing more of it. I really love your God||Code manga too. The characters are awesome and your manga-making skills are top-notch. I've got a challenge posted for a story I'm writing and hope to illustrate, but unforunately my manga skills are lacking to say the least. T__T
Ummm Commissions would be prettymuch a costly request, yes. Just most artists don't do drawings for random people so the random people pay them for their service BD
lawl The Otaku doesnt have a payment system... but most people use PayPal which is a verrrry easy payment method for online commissions which are normally commissioned through note, then the commissioner recieves the full PNG file through E-Mail
: u... I hope I awnsered your question
Cool, you're sketches are beautiful, like all your art. I'd like to see this one colored someday, but I know how it is with the commissions and stuff. Which I've been meaning to ask: everyone here has been posting "commissions," but aren't they just regular requests? Commissions are paid drawings.... unless people found a way to pay for them here....
I don't know. Sorry if that was random. I've been through art classes my whole life and lately I've gotten actual paid commissions from people so that's why I was curious.
