Prom is more of a date thing? (thought you don't need a date, it seems more people have dates at prom than homecoming) It's a bit fancier (some of the guys wear tux and girls can wear long dresses but short is fine too) as opposed to homecoming where most guys wear shirt and tie and girls wear short dresses mostly. Prom has more decorations and stuff I guess. Last year our prom was awesomely off campus but dunno if that'll last. Prom is blown out of proportion more...both are fun dances in my opinion. It's hard to explain the difference in words :P

I think it was like fifty bucks for a couple or something like that last year...>__> I used a dress my mom had from some black tie event or something, so I didn't have to spend a ton :) You can get some relatively cheap makeup, though, if you just want it for dances.

I can't dance either. NO ONE CAN. You just kinda stand there and sway. LOL.

Um, a lot of people go with dates, but you don't have to. I saw a few girls there just with their friends. I was going to go with a couple of my fellow dateless girls buuut I ended up getting asked HA.

Orly? I hear about it in movies and everyone at school talks about it. Plus it's really expensive so I want to say I went to prom before I graduate haha. What do you even do at prom? And naw, I dunno if I want to go to homecoming. It's for 9+ graders so I'd feel like an old woman going to one of those. I barely know any freshmen outside of band and it seems like mostly sophomores and freshmen to those xD

But how do you get ready for dances anyways? And is it true you're lame if you go without a date? My mom was making a huge fuss about how it's basically illegal to go to prom without a date LOL. xD

People make waaay too big of a fuss over prom. I ended up going though, and it was fun. Homecoming is fun too, idk if you've been to it but you should go this year :) I'll be there!

Um. Well, it depends on what you consider "studying well"
Some of my friends didn't even study and most of them didn't get good scores (2's), but two who didn't study at all got 5's on the AP exams because they read about history for fun and are basically history braniacs.

I didn't really study much either, because I'm lazy and I also suck at history and geography, so until two nights before the AP I basically didn't even remember what century the world wars were in. Yeah, that bad. xD I just waited until two nights before, crammed to death at night, and then took the exam and got a 5. So yeah. I don't think it's really considered studying well.... but I studied hard for two days if that counts? xD

You're not supposed to cram for AP exams but the WHAP one was reaaalllly easy. I kinda even regret studying at all, because you don't really need much besides common sense and a basic idea of where everything is to guess your way through. Most of it was analysis anyway.

No, not really LOL. I rarely ever did homework last year and I still managed to get straight A's. xDD

And.. it depends on the teacher I guess. I've only taken the class for one AP exam, and the teacher taught us a LOOOOT of superfluous information. Barely anything that she taught was actually on the actual exam. xD

Thanks, and LOL I doubt they will. It's only 2 APs.
I'm just worried about my rank dropping. Since I took a lot of high school electives in middle school, those were factored into my GPA. That plus band plus the fact that I don't take online APs... I might even drop lower than the top 5 percentile if I don't do something... I might have to get a job or beg my dad to let me take two online APs. xD
