I have the Kaplan's 12 SAT practice test book. Can't speak for anything else. You don't really need answer explanations though, since most errors are fairly self explanatory and you can always ask your questions on collegeconfidential. So many geniuses there. xD
I like Kaplan's SAT reading book. I don't have their math one, so I'm not sure about that. Og course, collegeboard's books are great. But, the answers don't have explanations!
Yes! Exactly! It's like- really? Is there any way to play it better when the best you can do is what you already can do? xD
Really? I absolutely hate Kaplan's because the tests are hilariously inaccurate (eg, trigonometry, pre-calc, and SAT II math II level math will never appear on the SAT math section tyvm), but I take the tests anyway. I personally prefer PR because it really helped me improved on my CR. Oh yeah and obviously the blue book, since those are actual SATs made by the actual SAT makers.
EXACTLY. On my first day/lesson of playing violin, I mastered twinkle twinkle little star and my chromatic scale and my teacher was like "okay, spend two hours at home practicing these" lol ntyglt. So monotonous and time consuming. Why practice something I already know how to do? It's not like anyone will ask me to play Twinkle Twinkle in carnegie hall, or like I'll even be able to play that piece at solo and ensemble. I remember liking Gavotte though. xD Not actually playing it, but the song.
I like the way violin sounds recorded on a disk/mp3 file. I don't like how it sounds in real life. o3o

I love Kaplan's SAT book~ I'm not sure why, but there's something about them that I really like, opposed to the others.
Agreed. I used to find it to be such a CHORE. I mean, playing the same thing over and over for an hour? No thanks! But, that's probably because the pieces I played before were all much simpler. Now that they're harder, I don't mind playing them multiple times. ^^
Hahaha, that happens sometimes, when the titles are japanese~
LOL lucky I wish I had cousins to get hand me downs from. xD My only cousin in America didn't give me his; he gave them to his friends. I did get that Kaplan SAT book from him though. Spent 3 hours erasing all of the answers and writing in the book. xDD
When I played violin I hated it. It made my fingers hurt, didn't really like my teacher, didn't like the sound of it, I didn't want to be categorized with every other Asian, and I hated practicing but now I'm like ughhh why did I quit FICTION I NEED YOUUUU.
me and my kpop. ohhhhh dear. xD
The only thing I remember is "I LOVED THAT MANGA" and eventually I forget what it was about and the character animes and the manga name so ... yeah. I can't really give manga recommendations. xD If someone said the name of the manga and I looked up the art, then I'd be able to remember but until then.... xD
The SAT ones and some of the AP books (hand-me-downs from some of my mom's friends' kids) xD
LOL, you just described me there. Guess I must now go find something that'll make me special compared to stereotypical asians! :3 My parents keep saying how they want me to quit, but luckily, they didn't. I'm glad they didn't, since I'm now finding it to be something actually FUN, compared to how I thought about it in middle school, haahha.
Same~ I don't remember names, but I can remember the plots- and remember them really well. I even dreamt I read a whole manga before! And the events in each chapter in my dream were the same in the actual manga! o___o That's why I usually don't reread a manga, unless I really love the plot~
Ahh well the only one I've tried thus far is Dengeki Daisy, but I shall read the others later.
ATM I'm designing a psychology experiment so after that I have to read my books, and I may not have time to read more manga until Monday. xD
OOH WHICH ONES? :D
I used to play violin. I used to be that stereotypical Asian: excelling in math, having average scores in reading, playing no sports, liking science, and playing piano and violin LOL. I quit playing violin though. and regret it. I quit just when I got really good at playing, and now I don't even remember how to hold my violin. T___T I want to use it to play Beast's fiction but now I can't hnnnnng.
LOL I always forget the plot/outcome/characternames/manga name of manga. xDD In 9th grade, I read a TON of manga; probably over 50 mangas but I don't remember the names of any of them.
LOLOLOL I HAVE SO MANY OF THOSE BOOKS. xD (besides the ones of classes I'm not taking yet)
You play violin by any chance?
Dengeki Daisy is awesome, but I got lost near the last few chapters released, so I dropped it. >.>
Beast Master on the other hand....<3<3<3<3<3
And, I forgot Ao Haru Ride's plot. xD
