I do sense a bit of hurried-ness in the plot, and a few plot holes but I had a great experience watching it. The magical stuff is bewildering * A *

Tales of Earthsea is not a bad movie, but it could have been better if it wasn't rushed. Though Goro learned what he needs to improve and he did so in his next movie From up the Poppy hill, which I haven't seen yet (it still hasn't come out here in the West, only in France I think).
But I also liked Tales of Earthsea, it had some nice moments. :)

I think that you would love My Neighbor Totoro. And you definitely must see Spirited Away. It is a true masterpiece of anime cinema.

I actually saw Tales of Earthsea first before the other Ghilbi movies. I personally like it. :'D

Tales of Erthesea is one of the weaker of Studio Ghibli movies and one made by Miyazakis son. Still it is pretty good and from what I read it has a nice story.^^

Howl's moving castle sam zapravo prvo procitala knjigu i jako mi se svidjela. Kad sam vidjela da ima i anime film napravljen prema njoj bas mi je bilo zanimljivo pogledati kako su ga napravili i sto su izmjenili ^^. Hocu :)

Da da, ovi stariji filmovi obicno su napravljeni prema knjigama. Pa i ne samo stariji, nego mnogi i noviji (kao Howls moving castle).
To je isto jako interesantno, ali ako budes imala priliku definitivno pogledaj i ove sto su prije izlazili, pogotovo Nausicuu. Dobila je mnoge nagrade.^^

I've read the second page now , and I must say I never heard of Pre-Ghibli movies . (which means I haven't watched any either ) Although I think I heard of the book Anne of the Green Gables but I haven't read it. A Heidi sam citala jer je to lektira.

Can't really say depressing, but is quite sad.. though a very beautiful tale. You should watch it though, I think that these movies are quite easy to get on DVD even there and of course there is always internet and torrent.

Oh yeah, they sure are to any anime fan and much more~! Hayao is very good and it has it's unique style.
I also like the ones of Isao, most notably Grave of the Fireflies.^^

Oh, these two are one of the best of them. But still be sure to watch others as well. Even some older ones still have just amazing animations and story there.
I will post later on about more of their movies by each era, so you can find one which you would like. :)

I think that it is quite an interesting idea actually. They probably have them many already there, but making it first into manga or something similar and posting it and showing it to the others is the best way to go at beginning as I said to you before.^^
