Its a sports manga and I wont lie, it borders on the eechi at times but the story is amazing. My favorite character is Akito/Agito. I find that the characters are relatable and thats important to me. I watched the older anime before reading it and fell in love. Now I own a few volumes nd Im currently thinking about remaking an old cosplay of a character from this series.

Its about special skates called AirTreks (ATs for short) they have a special gear that allows the user to reach incredible speeds to the point they can climb walls and reach the heavens themselves. The main focus is a boy named Itsuki. Hes down on his luck and feeling pretty crappy. Hes in a fight and looses againt a gang of stormriders (people who use ATs).

He stumbles upon a secret in his home and falls into the world of ATs. He gets a group of friends together and forms his own team to raise above his problems and feel free. It sounds cheesy but my god...I love it so much. If you can stand the strong language and massive ammounts of fan service its a top five for sure.

There are two mangas that have that effect on me. Sailor Moon, and Air Gear. If Im feeling upset or depressed I read them and feel better everytime. Both are very near and dear to my heart.

And ignore your parents. What they say about your life reflects in no way your real life. I mean, you actually have a job, while here I am, lazying away my summer! If they think that your not going to succeed, obviously they don't know you. You're a hard worker and will make it in life. I know it.

I guess the stress is coming from the anticipation of starting a new job. They hired me in June, but my first day is this Saturday.

Hmm, I've never really thought of myself as independent. I guess you're right to an extent.

I'm talking with people about strategies on how to get the guy to let me be. I'm just a little nervous about implementing them.

I don't think my parents approve of me because, in their words, I have "no skills and no education". And because of that, I'm going to be working lousy, menial jobs for the rest of my life.

Girl, do not even get me started on confidence. You are an independent woman who has managed to make it on her own for how many years? You know how to handle yourself, just take a step back and appreciate how much of an awesome woman you are.

Sounds like you've hit a hard patch of life. Don't worry, things'll get better. Just don't forget to be grateful for the things you do have - and don't forget to take some time out for yourself! Take a break from Facebook and whatnot and just do something that you enjoy.
