Yeah she appears to be MIA. I sent her a request asking if I could update my username and havernt heard back. But that isn't important. Anyway I think they need more people who actually are able to get online and check the reports. There's been too much (well I've filed reports) and I check back a week later or whatever and the stolen works are still up. Something wrong with that picture? Yeah I think so...

Hell I would like to be a report checker for this site. At least I'd get stuff done around here. And the art theft level wouldn't be as high. I would form a team of Otaku art thief hunters. You'd be the first one I'd pick for my team. *hugs*

I don't think it's that the mods don't take the reports seriously. Either there's a bug in the site that keeps them from receiving the reports, or the team just hasn't been checking them lately. I heard that SunfallE is the one that reads the reports, but as far as I know, she's MIA.

I wish I could publicly post a list of all the people to avoid due to theft/tracing, but then I'd get banned. All I can say is that if you spot inconsistencies in style and signatures, it's most likely a thief.

I hear ya on the art block and writer's block. I'd like to start a story but I can seem to find the energy to write and I want to draw too but can't find the will too. Why must u curse us art blocks!?

I understand about Otaku related frustrations and such. For me its having no internet on my computer to watch anime like I want to. I have to find sites (on my phone) to download eps and its so frustrating. Hang in there, it will all work out. I will too.

When I mean "illegal imports from DA", I mean that the thieves aren't stealing stuff from here for the most part. They're taking stuff from DevaintART and posting it here. If you see an artist with an inconsistent style, it's probably because of that.

Really, I'd like to set the prizes aside for now, but it's been so long since the Challenge ended, and I don't want to keep the winners waiting.

art blocks are really hard to get rid of! I kinda feel like I'm falling into one after finishing my drawing but I'm trying to just do little doodles to avoid it and plan out my 4 koma comics.
I would say take it easy and try not to force yourself to draw or else it will make you feel unmotivated to finish your project.

2. I don't think the thieves want to steal OCs as much as they want to steal well-made fan art with recognizable characters. They're mostly "illegal imports" from DevantART anyway.

3. I haven't given up hope yet. It's just that I'm annoyed that I couldn't watch it from the beginning when it premiered.

*facepalm* oh gosh I'm so sorry, I am way too hyper right now... apparently feeding Elricz a lot of carbs makes her hopped up on sugar... I'm just weird like that lawl.

1. Well, hun, sometimes we just have to shelve ideas until a better time. And when we end up forgetting those ideas or getting into a block... BUST OUT THE FINGER PAINTS! Smear a bunch of colors on a piece of paper and just let those creative juices become a creative rainbow (or unicorn barf) on said paper.

2. It's a shame, really. My grams was worried about me posting my chara bios because of the art thievery.

3. That's super disappointing! But I'm sure someone will pick it up and do a simulcast soon! Usually someone will host the dub pretty quickly, depending on the popularity of the anime. And SDS seems like an awesome anime that'll gain more popularity if we give it plugs on the internet and spread the word. Or we could just petition someone to pick it up.

4. WOAH. Have fun with that. And don't forget the "20 minutes, 20 feet" rule. Every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away so you don't strain your eyes if you've gotta marathon that much anime.

Yep, more art thieves. I was recently comparing notes with someone. Turns out there are some thieves even I didn't figure out.
