I just find it harder to find the time these days to make wallpapers as often as I used to. That list of resources is handy though. I have some of them bookmarked so I'll add the rest once I get a chance to get on my laptop XD

I've visited a lot of these sites listed here. Though some of them I've never even heard of. That's part of the reason I haven't made as many wallpapers as I used to, lack of good resources, or reliable resources. I'm checking these sites out. And I've bookmarked your post so I can refer to them as needed.
I like the idea of hosting a challenge for artists and wallers to team up to create more "useable" art for here on theO. I may need some time but I wouldn't mind personally hosting a challenge of this nature. It is a great idea. Plus the wallpaper section and e-card section need more challenges. Thanks for sharing these. This was a great informational post. :)

I have heard of a few of the sites you've mentioned, but not all of them. I'll have to check them out later.

But yeah, I've thought about hosting fan art challenges to get usable images for wallpapers. I probably would've gone ahead and made one, but I've got another challenge going on at the moment.
