I understand the reasoning behind it, but I have to say I'm actually really upset about the eCards. I'm having issues with this site as it is, it seems to be freezing my laptop. I've reported the issue, so I hope something can be done.

I'm going to miss the eCard section. I know I haven't been active there myself recently, but that was always my favourite thing to submit to theO. I'd been planning on making some Gif eCards too. Ah well. Perhaps I'll make a world instead?

I like the idea of a contact list. I have a similar thing in my World intro ^^ very handy~! I hope theO survives this lapse and goes onto bigger things. I've had a lot of fun here over the years, this is the one place that feels like my internet home. It has always been so welcoming and friendly. I've made some friends for life on here.

The reason behind the e-card section going down does seem to be due to that part of the site not having as much traffic. Though it could also be due to how over half the e-cards that are submitted usually are just junk pieces that people throw together in like a minute.

But the reason that the Mobile Wallpaper section was taken down is apparently because TheO just can't keep up with the different screen sizes that the newer smart phones and tablets keep coming out in. At least that's what the post on TheO's main page says.

At the moment, I really don't think there's any need to panic about TheO fading out of existence.

Sadly I might consider doing this myself. I have been noticing a lot of art sites disappear which is sad, but posting a list of places to be found would be wise in case. :(
