Yes, I just saw that picture of those kids breaking a fan with Yu-Gi-Oh cards on Tumblr. I think you or someone else must have reblogged that recently.
I think I have to show you some pictures on Discord.
As for King, he was in his cute form.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
I am absolutely not kidding about the Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
Gudetama? That's probably his name. I keep forgetting the "Gude" part.
Yeah, the Cat Bus was really cool.
OK, so this guy looked like he was cosplaying as Ryuk from the waist up. Then he was wearing apple-shaped shorts. I don't know how else to describe it.
I guess it would be easier to tell you which characters were in the 7DS group. There were six cosplayers: Meliodas, Elizabeth, Diane, King, Ban, and Elaine. They were really good cosplays, too.

Okay, I have a few comments about the cosplayers.
- You're not kidding about the Yugioh cards armor, are you?
- In regards to "this egg guy," that would be Gudetama
- The Cat Bus sounds like such a cool cosplay! How creative to build it around a wheelchair
- I'm sorry, Ryuk wearing WHAT
- Who was missing from the Seven Deadly Sins cast?
I'm so glad you and Edward had fun! Hopefully you'll get to do karaoke next year, or at least get up the courage to request some songs for yourself if you play Rock Band again.
Uhm how popular..? well now with all the internet, streaming and globalization it's really popular, like in other places, but like in the 90/ early 2000 it wasn't as popular or recognized as now, at that time, anime was really a thing for passionate and otakus in italy. I mean there were a lot of animes already in TV of course, but it wasn't really acknowledge as "anime" but like normal cartoons (like tom and jerry for example). In fact, italians tv people thought that just because it was animated stuff, it automatically was kid's stuff, and a lot of anime got heavily censored and changed just to being aired in the afternoon. Mtv and some other channels were the only place to see some adult/less adult animes, like there was stuff like Death Note and Neon Genesis Evangelion late at night.
But yeah anime it become really popular unfortunately not all get a translation and so we have to watch dubbed stuff most of the time.
I guess I'm lucky in that I live near Chicago. I never really thought about what anime conventions are like across the "pond". Just out of curiosity, how popular is anime in Italy?

I barely even touched upon last Saturday. That was probably the busiest day of the three. I hope to write more over the long weekend, but today is shaping up to be pretty busy.

This sounds fun, I wish there were this kind of things here around too, but we just have big comicons in the bigger cities like lucca or rome or naples. we have a mini mini comics and games thingie in a city nearby but it's in summer and every time I just die from heat trying to some cosplay ahah XD
I totally recommend my hero academia, for me it's quite nice and I'm super picky with animes in fact.

Enjoyed your summary of Fri. and Sat.! :D
Congrats on your divine success in finding two copies of the FMA artbook! (That description was epic. XD) For now, enjoy the art, and hopefully you will get to read the artist's comments later.
Also, congrats on getting to geek out about the release of 7 Deadly Sins at the Funi panel. (My Hero Academia is also good. ^^)
Sounds like you had lots of fun adventures, including your private music session before the opening of the con that morning. Looking forward to reading more!

@Keba Si Rota:
Speaking of Yugioh cards, have you ever seen a photo of a couple of kids who broke a ceiling fan by throwing all their cards into the air?
Honestly, it was a wild guess.
*thumbs up*
Wait, apple-shaped? how would that even work. robin and i need to get on figuring that out
Okay, so the King cosplay begs the question: was it cute and adorable King, or manly-man King?
(Ps I'm sorry it's taken me 3456 years to reply. life has mildly pooped lately)
