Phoenix smiled and nodded lightly at Gin. "Take better care of it this time." She told him before he vanished. At that she felt Kisuke jerk away from her and start with the 20 questions.
She rested her index finger of his lips. "Shhh!" Once he quieted down she answered him.
"Yes, I know all this, but Gin is watching out for Kita. If you believe it or not. In time it will all make sense to you. Until then..." She picked up his hat and placed it back to his head. "Be a good boy and leave Gin to his own with Kita."
Phoenix smiled at him and waved with the wiggle of her fingers and vanished.
So shocked at the Goddess interference Kisuke was speechless. He watched as Gin walked over and casually took the vial from her and thanked her. She made no attempt to stop him. Only smiled and let him have the vial she took from him.
When Gin was gone Kisuke finally came to his senses jerking his arm from Phoenix.
"What the hell was that all about?! You do know he has one of your comrades, right?! He follows Aizen's orders and won't hesitate to kill her if Aizen tells him to. You are aware of all this, right?!"
On her other side, Gin's long fingers wrapped around the vial in the goddess' hand. "Thank you, fire lady. I owe you," he called out in his usual sing-song voice. He tucked the vial into his jacket with his good arm, left arm hanging useless from Benhime's second attack, and looked to Urahara.
"I owe you as well, shopkeeper~" He grinned as wicked light danced in his eyes.
A moment later, he was gone.

Before one grain could leave the bottle Phoenix grabbed the shopkeeper’s wrist. Kisuke’s head snapping her direction as he looked at her. Phoenix wagged her finger at him taking the vial from his hand and replacing the cap.
Kisuke dodged the cursed blade as it came at him, but it managed to land a wound one on each arm. Jumping back Kisuke could not help but smirk at Gin’s annoyance, and he did not falter in taking full advantage of it.
“Razor, Crimson Princess.”
Kisuke swiped Benihime’s blade as a red energy arc sailed toward Gin. When Gin jump to avoid the attack Kisuke turned the attack and sent it toward him again.
“Did I hit a nerve, snake?” Kisuke asked him sending the arc Gin’s way once more as he tried to evade it once more. Kisuke held tight to the vial his thumb on the lid. "I wonder how annoyed you would be if I dumped it?"
With that Kisuke caught the full attention of Gin, he turned looking at him as Gin watched the lid of the vial pop off and flip through the air. The vial started to tip. And Gin made a mad dash toward Kisuke. It was like watching it in slow motion.
Suddenly, the shopkeeper's sleeve ripped, and Gin launched himself at Urahara, no longer smile, eyes twin pools of azure rage. "That was your chance to get out this without losing, shopkeeper," he hissed, blade a whirr before him. He slashed Urahara's hat and landed two shallow cuts each arm, sidestepping before Shinsou arched upwards at his side for a second time, eyes on the vial in his hand.

Kisuke leapt from the extending blade as he tossed the vial into the air and caught it in the same hand. “This? It looks like something you should not be playing with.” He looked to Gin once he landed and started to laugh.
“Give it back you say? I tell ya what. You run along and get me back my Hougyoku from Aizen and bring it to my shop, and we'll talk about an even trade.” He looked at the vial once more. “What do ya say?”
Shinsou leapt for his legs even before Gin had finished standing up. Not quite smiling underneath his sliver bangs, blood running down his neck and coating his shoulder, the reaper waved his free hand, aiming his trusty blade again. "Mind giving it back, hat-n-clogs? It is mine, after all. It's nothing for you to play with."
Raising his arm above him to shield himself from the falling canopy above. He felt a sting catch him across the thigh.
"Damn that blade!" Kisuke growled softly staying hid as well as he could from that cursed blade.
Coming down beside Gin, Kisuke attacked again this time with a right hook straight into the side of his jaw. Gin spun where he stood with the force of Kisuke's hit. But it was not Gin's epic fall from the tree that caught Kisuke's eye. It was a little red shimmering vial that lurched from under the folds of Gin's kimono.
Kisuke moved quickly, Benihime ready to go to work as he slashed at Gin's throat. He smiled when he got lucky enough to not only cut the chain but leave Gin a little gift in return.
Kisuke landed catching the vial in his left hand as he stood there shaking it watching the red shimmer swirl in the bottle.
"What is this?"

"Actually," Gin murmured, joker grin in place, "snakes are more known to do this." Shinsou ripped through the reaper's billowing sleeves in a streak of white and plowed through the canopy towards Urahara's voice. "Strike a moving target," he finished, as a tree toppled. Smirking, he licked the new blood off his blade.
"Have you had enough yet, shopkeeper, or did I accidentally kill you this time?"

Kisuke growled gritting his teeth his hand clenched tightly around the hilt of Benihime. “She is not a traitor. She never was nor will she ever be.”
When Gin disappeared from his sight Kisuke became very alert of his surroundings. A flash, falling branches and then Gin appeared behind him Kisuke barely catching a glimpse of him from the corner of his eye. Kisuke sprang from the branch he was standing on a summersault later he landed to his feet only to turn and see the blade of Shinsou coming at him. He moved just in time to avoid a serious injury. The blade grazing his side as he winched. Kisuke took to the thick of the leaves once more.
“Just like a snake to come up from behind.” Kisuke spoke out to Gin keeping his eyes on him.
"What makes you think the old man or Central will listen to her?" Gin called out in response, standing again. He licked a new cut on the back of his hand. "After all," he grinned nastily, "she's a traitor." He vanished.
"I should have known you would pull a trick reminiscent of your Stealth Force days, but you only get the surprise once. Shoot to death, Shinsou." Light flared up into the tress and branches fell. In the chaos of the creaking wood, Gin appeared and aimed a direct shot at Kisuke's back. Shinsou sprang forward.
"Sing, Crimson Princess." Kisuke called again as he spun around to block Gin's attack.
He leapt back and took to the trees himself. Hiding himself in the thick of the leaves making his way closer to Gin so he could attack. Once close enough, Kisuke jumped down off his branch coming down on top of Gin and kicked him in the lower back sending him sprawling into the next tree beside them.
Kisuke could not help himself as he let out a small chuckle as he watched the snake slide down the trunk of the tree landing on the ground beneath him.
"And as far as Kita not coming home. You might want to rethink that. At the rate she is going with convincing the old man, Aizen was there at the hearing she will be home soon enough."
"Two can play that game," Gin remarked with the same mocking smile. He shunpo'd behind the shopkeeper, on a branch above him. "Shoot to death, Shinsou." In a flare of white, the blade shot for Urahara's right shoulder.
Kisuke turned quickly avoiding Gin's attack to his side as Shinsou blade caught his jacket slicing the side from edge to armpit.
"Going to try to take me apart piece by piece? You have landed your last blow, snake." Kisuke came around him attacking to Gin's side Shinsou extending coming right at his head.
Gin's eyes flashed from beneath his bangs. "Then I guess I will indulge you for a little bit, considering the truth of the matter." His eyes narrowed, twisting his wrist and marking the back of the shopkeeper's forearm with Shinsou. "After all," he called out, "she's not coming back to you anytime soon." He spun on his heel and slashed upwards towards his opponent's side.
Kisuke growled and lunged at Gin again. "None of the above. I just feel like kicking your ass without interference." Kisuke brought Benihime around and slashed at Gin, her blade catching his cheek and drawing blood. "I would like to have you out of the way before Kita comes home anyway. You're such a pain."

Kisuke narrowed his eyes and sheathed Benihime as he grumbled under his breath.
"I am starting to wonder if I can trust anyone in this mess." He then turned and took off back to the shop.
