Heheh. I know how that feels, and yes, you should. At the very least, you should get sucked into the anime. It's one of my absolute favorite animes out there, and I hear it is pretty true to the manga. I think it deviates on the last season (but I don't care, I enjoy it too much)

Thanks for getting back to me. The animation in that video attatched to your post was really great, so I really want to start watching the anime now. I was reading the manga at the same time I was in the middle of reading The Lord of the Rings, and I started to feel overloaded and I dropped YuYu Hakusho. Sadly, I never got back to it. I really should.
I'm not sure. I haven't read the manga; I love the anime, and I am starting this story after the anime ends, probably a year or so. I know there will be so flashbacks of the black tournament and someone important to that chapter will be a key character for a while. Also, much later, the demons will return to the demon plane, and the other lords will be come in there. However, for the moment the worst spoilers would be some of Kurama's darker moments, when he gets angry and takes quick action, which I may or may not analyze in depth.
Sorry, I can't really answer your question that well. Thank you for taking interest in my story. Maybe the safe route is to finish the story then pick mine up. It will be around for quite a while. I haven't even got started with these chapters.
