So I made (actually remade) a Rurouni Kenshin wallpaper. I like the atmosphere in this one. I have to admit, lately I've been feeling like that too...
After reading Waffuru's fan girls essay, I thought of an idea for an article. It's an idea I'd thought of many times before, just never in this new light. I REALLY want to make this one; I think it'll be very interesting, even for me to just write, as I'm sure I'll come to some realizations as I'm writing it. What is it on? Hmmm...I don't think I'll say just yet...maybe I'll just leave it as a surprise...
Gah, tons of ideas, so little time...isn't that how it always is?

EDIT: I just got another idea for an article (see what I mean? lol) The Watercooler has been talking about violence, etc. in the real world and influences from video games and anime. A much debated topic, yes, so I wrote a comment, and am now thinking about an article where I expand the bit I said.

Barely been around here since Friday. I've been soooooo busy. Tons of homework (philosophy term paper and chem lab on top of the usual weekly calc, physics, programming, and chem assignments), and also two tests next week. While I just say test, these are more than simple tests like the ones in high school, considering these count for 20% of my mark for calc and chem.
And then of course, there's BRAWL. Waited six hours in line at a Walmart, which made me....FIRST IN LINE. Woot! I was one of the first people in North America to get Brawl, giving me bragging rights that totally made it worth the six hours.
There's an anime con this weekend in Toronto, and I totally want to go, but gah, due to the aforementioned, I simply cannot.
I'm continuing reading Prince of Tennis. I don't know why, but for some reason, it's an extremely addictive manga. And it's also made me really want to play tennis. Go figure. lol.
So basically, I've got a bunch of article ideas, but no time to write them. Gah. I might be able to get one done after my tests next week, but then soon after I've got exams coming up (April 10-22). Woot, go six exams.
Anyways, I'm simply stalling right now, so I'm going to just end here so I can do work to get rid of this guilt.

EDIT: Anyone ever seen Seven Samurai? It's a 1950's Japanese film. It's what Samurai 7 is based off of. I decided to watch it, and it's really quite good! No wonder it's considered one of the best movies of all time. My only question, why are all the men in the movie balding? Even Katsushiro who's like, 20? lol.

I was just thinking of a funny "fan comic" this morning. I'm going to TRY and draw it. I'm not a bad drawer in my opinion, it's just the colour is what will really mess me up, so I guess I'll try to use photoshop or something. Whatever the case, I REALLY want to make it cause it pretty funny (at least in my opinion). It's a thing on Bleach that my friend and I were making fun of when we saw Yoruichi do her special thingy (can't remember it's name now) on Bleach Wii.
Anyways, I got to get ready for class.

So I changed my banners away form those hastily made ones I had yesterday. When I put them up I was like, "These are only temporary...which means they'll be up for at LEAST a few months." But today I had some spare time so I messed around with photoshop until I got something I liked. I have to admit I'm rather surprised I changed them so quickly. lol.
I've got a new article idea, this one on D.Gray Man. I'm not sure it'll work, so I'm going to flush it out a bit more and see how it turns out. Although that won't be for quite some time now. Between Brawl (54 hours and counting at the time of this writing!), homework, and randomness (which is always good), I hope to maybe get one article done by the end of next week. Hopefully.
I also remembered my final essay from last year. In my grade 12 English class I wrote an essay on Nausicaa, which I found pretty sweet for a school essay, lol. I'm going to make sure it's good, and then submit it pretty soon since it's an already finished product (which I ended up getting 95% on, lol).
Finally, a quick question to everyone:
Are we going to bring back SOAP?

P.S. Here's another pic from Halloween. Don't mind the fact that I'm baring my teeth at my friend for the pose. I couldn't figure out how to hold all three weapons at once so I just shoved it in my mouth (...no, just no...). This one you can see my sword better (hahahaha...this innuendo i like...), as well as my dagger. I made both of those myself, and I'm quite proud of them. The belts I made myself, but rather quickly, so they're not all that great. But considering all I had to work with was a white bed sheet (which I had used in September for toga night during orientation week), duck tape, and athletic tape, I think I did a pretty good job. I only wish you could see my boots better. Now THEY are really awesome...

So I put up a bunch of my old articles, remade all of the designs and stuff, and made the introductions. I think I'll be good for a while. I think...lol.
Well I have to say that I'm more or less officially back here at theOtaku. I've really missed this place. While VV has it's problems and things I don't like, the articles section is back, and that's all I really care about. Although I have to admit I'm still not 100% with the new setup for the articles, I'll just wait and see. I think if we give this place a week or two, we'll really be able to better understand just what Adam envisions its direction is.
I'm already working on a new article, and have a few more in speculation. Wow, that took NO time at all to get back into the groove. Of course it does help having seen/read a bunch of anime in the past year and a half.
Yeah, so there's no way I CAN'T talk about this right now. BRAWL. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is coming out Sunday! I've already planned it all out. I'm going to be going for the midnight release at a local Walmart. I think I know how to get there from the University (I still barely know this city, even though I've been here since September). But basically, it's going to be awesome. My friend and I are going to get it at midnight, get back to our rez, and then play it for about 20 hours straight. Mwhahahaha...
Anyways, I'm going to try and get this article I've entitled "Men of War" done by Friday or Saturday, although it may be tough due to a lab, a philosophy term paper, and the usual weekly calc and phys assignments.
