Heh. That's the thing about brilliant ideas._. Sometimes people write poetry late at night because of this interesting phenomenon...xD *cough*including me*cough*xD Good luck!:P I'm sure it'll be very interesting and fun to read...^^
When an idea hits me in the middle of the night I do only what's proper: I try my hardest to ignore the darn thing and get some sleep! Why do the most interesting thoughts tend to come late at night? Heck, the things sometimes invade my dreams: Dreaming of abstract methodologies is fun!
As for that "fun and interesting" part, I think that just ruled me out.
Haha, I'm the one writing that. :P I just can't think of any ideas for the next chapter...
But yeah. That ALWAYS happens to me. I'm lying in bed, trying to go to sleep, and then this brilliant idea hits me. Though I've never actually gotten up to start writing/drawing it or anything. I normally just write myself a little note and then do it the next day or something.
I need to write a theOtaku.com fanfic some day . . . not counting Adam in cat ears.
Actually, I think my two most sentimental thingies I've written for the site came up in about the same way as this. Lying in bed, suddenly going, "I need to tell a story . . .", getting out of bed, and hammering it out that very night.
In the case of my scriptwriter thingy, Alexa asked me the next morning, "what the hell were you doing up so late?"
Writing stories involving people that already exist is fun. It's easy to do because you've pretty much got "character" who are "fleshed out", and then throwing them together in a blender is a good time.
It makes me want to pick up that OtakuFic I wrote last summer. >>;
I just had this strange premonition that in the story I'll be the first to die in some strange freak accident, like tripping off a blimp from playing ping-pong, and at the funeral, Kat will say, "We'll miss him.....kinda....meh. Oh look, bagels!"

Man, isn't it great when you get an idea like that? It just consumes you and doesn't let go and... yeah.
We'll stop being damn interesting and fun when you stop. Since I cannot foresee that happening anytime soon, looks like you're stuck with us. :D
Be true, be you and of course, be otaku.
