Well, if you want the biggest bang for your buck, buy The World Ends With You because it uses the DS to its fullest, has lost of replay value from the insane amount of pins to collect and replaying on a harder difficulty to get better pins is a plus. Another game to add to that list might be Final Fantasy IV because its rated as one of the best in the series, and I enjoyed too.
I wish I could suggest a game, but you know better than that by now. However, I still suggest Kuhn's The Structure of Scientific Revolutions. (It has no buttons or load-time, so that's a plus.)
Merry Christmas, even if I am a couple of hours early!
TWEWY is definitely my top pick, though Shin Megami Tensei was fun and has a bunch of replay value too.
I tried writing on your wall on facebook earlier today, but it was all screwy. Anwyays, 28th still good for you? Give me a bus station where I should get dropped off or something, and then I can make the plans for heading up from there
Nice poem. I am going to agree with trip and ryu here. I watched IGN's review on The World Ends With You and they said that this game was unique and a lot of fun...with good music.
Six-year-olds and nuclear weapons: a combination that just can't be beat.
First off, if you're making poems about your struggle to choose DS games....I'll just let that statement speak for itself.
My rule for buying stuff is to wait till after Christmas. That's when you usually get a bunch of money that you don't know what to do with. I have this weird "Fiscally Responsible" and "Impulse Buyer" switch inside of me that goes off at random, and I have a small feeling you got the same thing.
And of course, I've never played any DS games, but I would strongly recommend The World Ends With You. The soundtrack rips.

That was quite a good poem, haha. xD
I've heard that The World Ends With You is really good. I don't pay attention to DS games much anymore though. Sorry I can't help more D:
