It takes plenty to seriously offend me, so don't worry about doing anything like that to me. If anything, I bother myself more than anyone else ever could. I'm amazed I can still live with myself.
Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure that most of us know those feelings all too well. Taking time-off to engage in other activities that really drive you isn't a bad thing. I wouldn't be the person I am if I didn't do that, or the person I still want to be. Take care.
You know what you need to do? You need to go paddling. 8D
Nah, I've been goin' through similar funks all winter. It's cold out, conserving energy, not moving around much...just slows everything down. Now that spring is here, I've noticed that I've been much more energetic and active. In fact, I James Brown danced into my house today for no other apparent reason than it was the last thing I heard in the car. You'll pop back up once you start doing handstands and flips in the grass or something.
Coincidentally, the lyrics fit to your predicament:
"Raise up, get yourself together...Drive that funky soul! Get up, get yourself together, drive that funky soul.
-Ryu
I bet the change in environment and actually getting back to being active and productive will do wonders. You're the kind of person who feeds off that stuff, so the place where you're at now isn't doing you much good.
Perhaps you'll find that, when you get back to uni, you won't resent Chat and the site as much because it won't be "that thing" that gets you through the day. It'll be back to being something fun to diddy around in again. :)
Stagnating? Ah, man, I know the feeling. It's definitely not something you wanna feel like. If a little break from theO brings us back happy!Tom, then feel free. You know we'll be here when you're back in your groove and chipper again. *pats on the back*

We all have our ups and downs. I think it'll be better when you find you have something to do again.
Cheer up, don't worry. If you need to take a break from this place, that's fine. Just know we'll be here to welcome you when you get back.
