That happens to me when I'm studying something in depth. The other day, I was doing logic (of course!), and then I grabbed another book for reference. Next thing I knew, I had 5 book surrounding me, leading me to some vast philosophical theory that was vaguely connected to the original topic. I love it when that happens!
