Huh, I'm actually listening to Ergo Proxy OST Opus 1 right now. Listening to the soundtrack while reading your post makes the experience seem slightly epic and existential. How odd. Anyways, it seems that I'm the only person who watched Ergo Proxy (and liked it!), while everyone else (rightly, I'd say) raved over Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Whenever you do get around to watching Ergo Proxy, don't let all of the philosophy references throw you off. If anything, it's better if you don't pay much attention to the obvious philosophical references. However, the deeper unspoken theme is what you should pay attention to: "Become what you are." or "Existence precedes essence."
First I'm riffing on Godel, and you're making references to Hawking. We shall nerdify this site soon enough, I'd say, with just enough effort. Pretty soon it won't be unusual to see some n00blet speaking about the Einstein-Rosen-Podolsky paradox, in chat.

Gurren Lagann was interesting for me because of how much it transformed throughout the course of the series. Take the first few episodes with a grain of salt, I guess; it isn't going to be like that for the entirety of the show, but it is DEFINITELY worth watching.

Zunes are awesome. I got mine, a red 8 gig, for Christmas last year (named it Kurama). Very sweet.
