I have no idea what you're going to think of Ergo Proxy. I'll admit that I'm wondering where to place it in my all-time anime list. Sometimes I have it as high as number three; other times I have it much lower than that. In any case, I'm still happy that I own the series and have watched it 3 times so far. (Okay, associating the word "happy" with Ergo Proxy may seem strange, since it's not exactly a feel-good anime.)
And yes, that's TTGL for ya. It grabs some and not others. It's just one of those anime that nevertheless does that. (Since I've written more about EP than TTGL, I think you can tell where I stand.)
