I remember spending some time on a proof, trying to derive a contradiction from a set of premises. To make it short, the damn thing ended up being longer than I expected it to be. And here's the "fun" part: I made a mistake in my proof, thus explaining the extreme length. I ended up cutting it down to size after discovering where I went wrong. Ah, such is the life dedicated to logic!
O_O Three hours on one question? Man... If it was me, the two and a half hour would have been breaks. XD I don't think I can work on one question for three hours straight.
LOL, that sucks dude. I does make somewhat of sense since it was four parts, but still. I was stuck in a similar situation last week with my organic assignment; taking two hours staring at an infrared spectrum and a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum just to figure out the structure of some molecule.

Ick!
Sounds so hard...but I'm sure you ace at it!
And ya know, every time you mention that you are studying physics it makes you look even cooler at my eyes. You are so smart! ;^;
