    Well i'm even more behind -- still not watched that one XD I think I read it though. Not as a manga, as a story that my friends brother printed out and made into a pretty book as a gift for his sister. The book was in the correct order though. Hmmm. I'll have to watch the anime and see for myself *laughs*

    lol, that song has been around for AWHILE now, I'm surprised you didn't pic it up in first year when you got that large batch. Yes, Haruhi was original alright; they are currently re-airing the original series, and adding 14 more episodes to it. Their on 9 or 10 now, I think. Another month and we'll get the second season!

    That is a great show and that song is great. Specially that guitar intro. Awesome. What about Lost My Music? That is also good.

    I guess you won't be watching the new series, then. I hear it is like a replay. I don't really know. Uh... Ask Des?

    Haruhi is one of the shows I plan on getting into in the next week. Yep, I haven't seen it before either. ^^

    Oh yeah, when you mentioned the Anthropic Principle, it made me think of our anime-science discussion. I was thinking of altering the subject to something else. I really don't know how we're going to make "The end of Science" work if we focus on anime in general. I was thinking of making our topic even more general than that, since it would allow us to speak more broadly and reference more anime than usual.

    At the moment, I've got, "The Role of Science in Anime", but that's about it. This might work better, I think. And I think we might have to use the PM system, considering we're not always in chat together (although, you can find me there on weekends). Let me know what you think, and feel free to add some ideas of your own.

    @bellpickle:

    No, but I do know about the re-release with new episodes. I'll have to check them out...

    I'd rather see in shades of gray.

    Have you seen the recently released, previously un-aired episode? :)

    Haruhi Suzumiya is a fun show. I usually didn't enjoy Itsuki's long-winded explanations, though, haha. He has so many of them ... yeesh ...

    Kyon is a classic, though.

    I was just here 1 minute ago, and now you dragged me back in!

    I should get around to watching more of it as well. On my next book-buying spree, I'll try and fight the urge to spend all of my money on books and buy some anime. I'll look out for it in the coming days, for sure.

    And yes, I might have to work on this "anime" thing as well, since I've been neglecting it for the past few years now (I think I've found a permanent home in my studies, but I'm willing to return to anime now and then; there are some anime that I still would love to see).

    Don't worry, I haven't finished The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya yet myself (I watched eight episodes and haven't bothered to see the rest yet). Plus I'm sure there's plenty of "must see" anime out there that we both have yet to see. :P

    Anyway, glad you enjoyed yourself. *pokes*
