And it's really long. Longest one yet!
Thanks for reading, guys. It's been a blast...but now I need ideas for what to do next, hur hur. Drop any comments or questions in the familiar whats-it-place. You know, what we always do....

Last night, at around 8:30, I got a call on my cell from Waffles. "What are you doing right now?" "RIGHT now? Absolutely nothing."
It was kidnapping time again! One last hurrah for our duo before she was to go off to college land.
Off we go to Best Buy to carouse the DVDs. She snatched up the last Avatar disc. Then another one. ...And then saw the Venture Bros. set. ...And 10 Things I Hate About You. We bummed around the anime section and I wandered off to see if they had any MST3K. They did - the boxset I already have.
"What were you looking for? Your...space odyssey show?"
"Uh -"
"Did I just lose points for calling it that?"
"No, I think you've gained points."
And then later, as we were leaving...
"You wore that? You're such a nerd. ...SAYS THE GIRL buying the Avatar DVDs..."
"Whaaat? It works! If they don't get the reference, then at least my name's Ginger..."
Then we went off to get ice cream at Cold Stone. While waiting for our creamed ice, Waffles noticed a sign for cakes and was excited over the Harry Potter cake.
"I'm not THAT bad."
"Oh come on! If they had a space odyssey cake, you know you'd want it."
"I think I'd be more creeped out, actually."
"Tch, you liiiiie."
".................................Maybe. If they did it in a certain way."
And off we went, back to my house, so she could pick up the abandoned copy of After School Nightmare. We messed around on Piers the lappy for a little bit - meaning we went on AIM and did a back-and-forth with timechaser. Poor guy took a lot of teasing.
Her departure is marked by this little thing on my whiteboard:
And so it shall stay until...she comes back, I guess.
After that, I juggled various IM conversations and ended up microphoning with TC. Since AIM glitched up whenever we watched a video, I ended up getting Skype. And we talked. For...five hours. >_>; We sang a lot, quoted a lot, and I hit my mic a lot. And I mean LOTS of singing [attempted, at least], and WAY too much quoting.
I love talking on the mic. If you ever want to chat, give me a ring. I promise I don't bite. :3
After making a post for our next Movie Sign ["You done yet? You done yet? Hurry up! You done yet?" ], we decided "hey, sleep". 4am for me, 5am for him. Hur hur. I popped in my sleepy time movie [Swamp Diamonds] and we ended up singing the theme song before logging off. "It's our lullaby!"
Huh. I need to get in some real clothes.
Slightly shorter. Slight angst. Slight fun!
Only one more to go and arc one is done. Let's get this out of the way first, though.

Tak...tak...tak...
The second floor of the Writers Bloc was a m...

I decided to switch up which movie I fell asleep to, so I went with "The Giant Spider Invasion". It worked, I fell asleep to it...but then I woke up at about 3am because the music they have playing at the main menu was really annoying...
So Joel and Mike both work on me. Hm.
Wait, today is...ah! The thirteenth! Happy 18th birthday to my best friend Lorenza. The joke with our group: 'Now you can buy porn, cigarettes, lottery tickets, and stuff off of infomercials!' Though I'm more amused by the fact that last year, she said "only one year 'til I move in with you!". Well, that happened a lot sooner than we thought, heh...
The new band uniforms are coming in today, so I'm going off to the school to help get all those organized. Yeap, only band geeks would be excited about new uniforms. But considering we're finally getting them after 23 years, we're all excited. Ooh! I should bring my camera and prove my place as historian...
On the note of school...oh man. So I'm this thing known as a student ambassador. Yesterday was when we were supposed to give tours to the incoming freshman and such. Well, I wasn't given the e-mail, so I got a message from my counselor, Mr. Young, asking about this. And I responded. And he responded. And I responded. And it was a fantastic chain
Young: I see. Well then I sincerely apologize as I know you are a reliable student who surely would’ve been here had you been notified within an appropriate amount of time to juggle your clearly hectic schedule! =)
Kat: CLEARLY hectic...yeah, that's for sure. *hides MST3K DVDs*
Young: What on earth is MST3K?
Kat: Why, it's Mystery Science Theater 3000. Guy and two robots are marooned in space and forced to watch B-grade sci-fi movies by an evil scientist who hopes to discover a film so bad that it breaks the guy's sanity before proceeding to unleash it upon mankind and take over the world. It didn't work despite 198 episodes. Note: My friends, it's all about freaking them out.
Young: OK, Ginger you have WAY too much time on your hands!! You need to get back to school ASAP!!!
Kat: I haven't watched all 198. ...Yet. Or soon. I'm semi-surprised that you have no clue what I'm talking about. But then again, it seems to be hit-or-miss with people. Ah well.
So I go to band camp and it's...um, band camp. At the end of practice, our director talked to me and the other bass drummer about the two that were missing and how we have to work to get them caught up and such. Extra early rehearsal? Looks like it. But then...
Struyk: I know you're busy and all, Ging, with watching Mystery Science Theater...
Kat: WHO TOLD - MR. YOUNG TOLD YOU! *proceeds to giggle the rest of the conversation*
And then the e-mail this morning:
Young: Rest assured, Mr. Struyk knew exactly what you were talking about. Band Geeks!!
I'm slightly concerned about all of this. >_>; Though mostly amused. Anyways, icons:
1 - From episode 302 "Gamera". Joel had the best faces going on during the song, which unfortunately you can't see due to compression.
2 - The screencap is from episode 810 "The Giant Spider Invasion". Mike's the odd destroyer of worlds, with three to his record.
3 - Again from 302. This one bothered me the most due to the text, and I'm going to be eternally annoyed by it. But I couldn't help loving Crow's line.
4 - From episode 814 "Riding With Death". Mike proves how he's the destroyer of worlds by blowing up his third planet via a baking soda and vinegar bomb.
Manos lulled me to sleep again, though I was consciously awake for more than the opening credits this time. Then again, I was in an odd state of being awake and asleep last night, especially since the Chat. Ah, that was a good time. I decided to leave at about 3:40am, especially since I had been awake since six the previous morning.
It didn't help that I had this picture floating around my bed in its sketchbook. It's a little present to Shin and timechaser because they've been putting up with me, my fangirling, and my pestering. Gonna slap down some colors and maybe fire it off to the site. Also, I have become surprisingly good at "scanning" pictures with the digital camera. That's sad. P:
Hrm. Need to start advertising for this coming Sunday. Hey guys, we need to have a quick talk and get a game-plan.
Ah, right. On the note of...well, the note in my head. Well, since marching season has started up again, that means I'll be gone from the interwebs from 5pm to 9pm every Tuesday for the next few months. Then there's the sprinkling of football games on Friday, and...well, yeah. Only two parades this year, though, so there's not much to worry about there. :3
